wow!
pvd proved that he is THE #1 DJ!
that had to be one of the best sets I ever heard from the man. I still haven't slept :(. Work is starting to be sucky. I'll post more laterrrrrrr. |

After Paul was done, George Acosta came on. Right then and there, me and the rest of the crew KNEW he wouldn't be able to even hold a candle, so we booked. Acosta started throwing his fist in the air during his first or second song....
....but no one in the crowd did. :wtf:

terrace wasnt open. the "terrace" da is referring to is just upstairs. ;) :p
but onto my review....
OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pvd in tore it up! i could not believe how good he was playing. i was expecting a set just like august, which i didnt want. i wanted him to play some classics and . i didnt think he had the material to play an ID ID ID ID ID ID ID ID ID set. but holy ing ! THATS THE ING PVD I LOVE! he banged it so hard. so many ing tricks. he was working that mixer so hard. working the breakdowns. slowing down, speeding up tracks. holy ing . i've never seen pvd throw in soooooo many tricks. i'm still BLOWN away!
and yeah i'll say it, BEST PVD SET I'VE EVER HEARD!!!! even tops the love from above in 2002. :eek: :toothless
amazing seeing everyone out! i had a great time with you guys. you all know who you are. big thanks to everyone! :D
edit: i coulda done without time of our lives, the other side, wundervoll, and dark beat though. but it was towards the end so whatever, i'll let it slide. :p |
