Review : Sneak's B-day Beats at Carey's spot

Ok, it's 11:30 and I'm still entertaining at my house, and since I've gotta be somewhat alive tomorrow morning, I'm missing this event. I wanna know all the details, especially about the new layout of the place, and the soundsystem done by 'the man' shorty, and your overall impressions of the club, as I've been dying to find out what's been happening in there.
So whenever you guys arrive back home, let me know everything! |

Well I don't think this new soundsystem was in yet, but I was perfectly happy with the sound that was there. I liked the overall look of the place to be honest. The carpteted floors upstairs were a nice touch, and it was really nice to be able to hear yourself when you spoke to someone up there.
Mark Farina was the ...that's pretty much all I can say about that. Fabulous beats!
All in all, I think personally this will be a nice space! |

how is that nice?? the last thing I want is to be able to hear some losers conversation beside me when a DJ is tearing it up. If you wanna talk go to a bar.
And carpeted floors?? is this everywhere? Even on the dancefloor? |

I loved the place.
Having never been to the old boa (yeah I know, laugh at me), I really had nothing to compare it to, but I must say, I liked the place... a lot.
The place was fairly clean, with some wooden sort of floortiles covering the dancefloor, and carpeting behind the dj booth up around the bars. It was more of a lounging type place up there, where you could talk normally, while the dancefloor was just POUNDING. You could tell the speakers were temps, with wires running all over the floors along the walls and whatnot, but the sheer acoustics of the place made it even sound good. I cant wait for shorty to get his hands on that place.
The beats were absolutely amazing. Pure dirty french house from what I heard. Unfortunately I had to leave early (around 3) because a friend started feeling sick... had too much to drink. Plus I had to work at 9am :wtf:
I could definately see that place as my new saturday home though. I loved it. |

-The place is wicked, its a must to check it out, def improvement from the old Boa
-The beats were bangging and I was grooving
-All the sketchbags went to the zone :haha:, and i had to go home and get some sleep.
-Overall, I had an awsome time! Great seeing everyone

that's some serious dosage to hide from society for that long.
But I don't feel so bad about missing out anymore. If the sound system isn't done yet, and the place isn't completely ready, maybe I'll just wait it out till new year's or opening night. |

| the place looks better than before, the dj booth is more professionally done. place was little bit too packed, Sneak was a monster on the decks "love those 300+ pounds dj that bounce in the booth it makes all the ppl on the floor bounce wiht them" and ofcourse addy and deko zee dont dissapoint at CZ! they were partying @ 270 too. |
