clubbing solo

so G&D came to town tonight at GLOW, and i didn't go because i couldn't find anyone to go with. should i have gone by myself? i'm not too sure. might have been awkward
but from what i've been reading, club glow isn't a good venue? |

I like to go alone. I went to WMC 2005 alone too and had more fun than some people partying in groups.
and I'm a girl ( just in case if somebody thinks my avatar is my GF picture) |

| if a goo dnight comes along and I can't get anyone to go with me I am going solo for sure. Plus, there are always a load of people inside that i know who I can hang out with. |

| ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THAT is what you'll be missing man. Going out solo can often be one of the best things ever. Period. I saw most of SPAIN by myself...Barcelona, Valencia, Ibiza, Madrid, all with people I have JUST met that day/week etc...best thing I have ever done. Period. |

I went to Glow today by myself and I wasn't expecting on seeing and anyone. I did find a chick I was dancing with her name was Jen.
Plus there was some TA's present, bottom line is you never know who your gonna see or meet. Try it |

95% of the time you will see me by my self.i simply cant rely on my friends to make the commitment and come out.
i always went out by my self around baltimore but originally when glow was at zei it was me and a buddy of mine always.we started out together getting involved in the trance scene.then when the edm scene waned he showed his true colors about being a fair weather fan of trance and edm and started going to the clubs all the wannabees left glow to go to. to "be scene" as they say. back to the solo scene.
so then i turned a buddy of mine on to glow who only listed to house. he became a dedicated trance fan.even began dj'ing with me when i first started.
enter new girlfriend. nothing against her of course.shes nice and hes happy being with her all the time and thats a good thing.
so, its solo again.i love going alone tho. i dont have to worry about anybody but me. i can leave as late or early as i want. i dont have to worry about chasing anybody down. etc etc.
ill be there solo for talla2xlc and max graham. glow is really not as bad as people make it out to be and you really need to go. if you come neatly dressed with a pair of dress shoes your in. and if your a girl its an automatic lock your getting in no matter what you wear.the only problem i could see on going alone is being a girl and having to walk alone from or to your car afterwrds. and of course there are people who have wandering hands when your walking through a huge crowd who wanna grab things(thats how i met trancerx lol j/k:crazy: ).but theres always tranceaddicts there(were usually in the front:D )so if you ever go alone just post and ask where the ta's are gonna be hanging at.theyll take care of ya! |

It depends.
In NY, even if I ARRIVE at a club alone, there will always be TA's on the floor I can hang out with. A different question is that I don't like to LEAVE alone and ride the subway... I went to Webster Hall completely alone once when I was 17. Man, I had no fear back then. It was a great night. No, seriously! :D
I partied all summer with random people in Europe too. But I never went to a club alone cause I met them in my hostels and then we went out together.
Bottom line is, I have homework to do and I'm procrastinating doing it by posting things like this. :toocool: |
