Ferry Corsten is GOD Review

| Ferry Corsten is one insane MTHRFCKR!! His set was even better than the first time!! The last hour of his set was nuts. He dropped a bunch of new tunes of his that were unreal, cant wait for them to be released. Anyways Ferry Corsten is GOD . My apologies to the people that went to Spundae, you missed a SICK show. |

Before I get to Corsten, I just wanted to say how sick was Deepsky!! First 3/4 of their set was awesome aggressive prog house. Their last chunk of breaks was pretty damn sweet too. A lot better than the breaks I hear other DJs play, this was dance your arse off breaks. Plus Jason n Scott seemed to be having a blast in the booth, kinda acting as each other's hype man, that was cool. OK, Corsten...I can't give a proper review since I left at 3 but up until then I must say he restored my faith in trance. Good to know there is still some very enjoyable trance music out there. After he played Fire I was happy rest of the night. It also seemed to me that though he played some good tracks before Fire, after it the set really picked up. If anyone can talk about the tracks he played after 3AM I'd appreciate that, interested in what he played.

OHHHHHH MAN! Not to mention those that attended last months, this time the lighting, effects and sound were out of control times 10 the LED background is sooooooooo sick!

DUDE!! Tonight RULED!! OMG!! THE WALL WAS GOING OFFFFFFFF!! That is :eyes: :eyes: :crazy: ..
I got there really early with Michelle!! We camped out...haha.. so.. when we got in finally after waiting over an hour.. RUN TO THE BATHROOM!! Damn girls have to pee every 5 minutes!! What's up with that..?? So anyways..we get in..get our drink on.. ...catch David's set.. then Deepsky came on..HOLY !! HOLY !! I was seriously impressed... definately got me dancing around!! Can't wait to see them again for sure... !! Ferry finally comes on .. woo hoo! the wall goes on... or off!! :crazy: They had some screens in front of the dj box this time... the lighting was MUCHHHHHH BETTER!! Not all dark and gloomy!! Ferry played very electro house..trance..whatever its called...its groovy.. I LOVED IT!! Hands in the air all night...and our big hearts too!! ( of course) Sorry to those views we temporarily blocked...:nervous:
They made Ferry end at 5 :wtf: ... we got to chat with him for a second... and then proceeded to the upstairs...which was JAMMMED PACKED!! OMG!! They were telling us to just get out!! They even man handled one dude that didn't want to go...!!:nervous: So we start to leave... and then run into JC...who gets us upstairs..!! THANK YOU!! Come on... 2 more girls?? haha.. the doors should be OPENED FOR US!! anyways...we hang out..no drinking till 6!! BOOOO ..i wanted another drink at 2!! We are hanging out..and then Ferry makes his way up there(woo hoo).... happy..smiling..friendly..chatty like always!! Hangs out for over an hour ... chatting with people taking pictures..such a NICE NICE NICE GUY!!!:tongue2
After Ferry goes... we hang out for just a little bit..then make our way to BOB's Official Sunday Afterhours... (thank god i was not sick this weekend..and could actually enjoy it!!)Picked up some beer for the boys...we all just chilled out... listening to various people take turns on the decks... good times... great weekend... ( to make up for last weekend's..ty one..)
The usual suspects where missed for sure... there's always NEXT WEEKEND!!:crazy: |

Kris and I get to Avalon alittle bit before 9. When we where across the Street this random car speeds twords and stops:nervous:I grab Kris and quickly walk across. What did we look like??? Not sure but come on Dude not cool.
Typical Avalon they do not open on time but once inside we Grab a drink (wtf $11 for a weak ass Drink) then head out to the dance floor. David Mosses is on and he is throwing down a pretty deep set. imo a little too Deep to start out. His last 30 mints where all right though.
Deep Ssky gets on and :eyes: Wow! Gets everyone dancing. I have not seen deepsky spin in a long time! They did not disapoint!:eyes:
At 1am Ferry gets on and hits us right away with Energy!Every one starts going Nuts! Ferry plays such an amazing set! But when dosn't he. There where so many new Tracks, and ones that he has played before. :) There wasn't one time I did not stop dancing. But there was one track that made me go :wtf:

Adagio(sp) for Srings ( closeing Track) is just a fraction of what he played. AMAZING!!!! Kris and I are close to the Front the entire time hold up the hearts we made. Sorry for blocking people views hehe. SOOOO MUCH Fun!!!!!
At 5am Ferry stops :( Last time They let him play untill after 6. But this time nope. :( Oh well. After his set he comes over to say hello to Kris and I sign out hearts. Kris and I go up stairs but they where not letting people in. One Bouncer guy ( the bald dude) rushes up stairs and gets pissed off. Infact he man handles this one guy who friends where inside down the stairs. Kinda scary.
I had to use the Bathroom wich they almost did not let me do but I made them. On the way out we asked JC if we could go up stairs. YAY we finally get up there. I did not have a issue with pushy guys untill we got up there!:mad:

Kris and I get a water I hand the Bartenter a 20 and she hands me back 6:wtf: I tell her this and she was a bitch but hands me the correct change. Ferry comes up staris and chats with people for a Bit. :D Kris and I get to chat for a bit get a few pictures, and then Ferry goes.
Soon Kris and I leave after and head over to Bob's place after a food/ beer run. and hang out/ take a nap there.
I had soooo much Fun this weekend! There where a lot of TA's there but some of them where missed. (you know who you are)
I can not wait untill next month when we get a double dose of Ferry!
