What do you think of my track selection?

Just had some good vinyls on my turnies today and just want to know what you think of this tracklist. Sadly hacve no chance at the mo to record on CD, so no audio available Sad ; just have your say about build-up and track-selection. Just tried to begin with some progressive turning fast into uplifting melodic trance and ending up into some tech-trance. You think that this set would work in a club? Just interesed Smile . i wouldn't really call the beginning proggy. Unfortunately so many people are playing this kinda of style, there is nothing hugely interesting in there, just a re-creation of ASOT or similiar pap trance djs.
And it probably would work in a club but just think it needs a bit more variety |

yes,
there is not much originality to it, throw in some breaks or techno,
dont get me wrong there is 4 or 5 good tracks in there, it just screams out armin to me |

I'd rather you post up the mix for me to hear it then I can comment.
Looking at it though, my first thought that hits me is your playing stuff that is currently getting hammared atm, it'd be nice to see some records that are not getting used as much, always makes me go nuts seeing a tracklist and I hardly know the records on there. It looks like to me the first half will be a shrug, and the 2nd half would recive a ":D". A few I don't know on there so that's a plus. It looks like it will flow nicely. Start up with some soft and then crack out the bangin stuff later, always a treat. |
