First time checking the new boa and very impressive upstairs, and the downstairs i felt was a little too big , felt empty. Sultan totally owned me that night was so glad to see him live again, too bad he was playing downstairs.

it was my first time at boa and i like the place. Richard was great, upstairs was a good area but the music downstairs was awesome, Sultan was phenomenal, hey played some SIKK tunes.

Dude you were there? Coolz, I ran into a billion people including superstar Tristan and a few other TAs but left @ 2:30, had work at 10am ouch...the "new" Boa was wicked, loved how they had the set up downstairs and the upstairs was also very cool. More people are needed but that will come w time.

The new Boa definately has potential....the upstairs looks really nice, the downstairs could use a little more work.

Got their around 10:30 with Richelle and them and waited in line for like 20min while they sorted out guestlist.

I really didn't like how they had Kevin and Richard switching back and forth, made for a hard time to get my groove.

Left shortly after Kevin finished so I can't really say how well the rest of the night was.

That is all

Oh Laura, where are your pics girlie?? :p

had a great night! thanks to everyone who showed up from TA (joinT, tatgirl, irish graham, the high in roller, RJ, Jon Jon.... i know there is more.....hmmm....oh, ENDLESSWAVE aaaaaaaaaand thats all i can seem to remember at this time) & a BIGGER thanks to those who stuck around for the majority of the night!

even though it would have been more ideal for kevin & i to play individually so that we could have each played a more personal set it was still fun to hang out in the booth, switch it up and get drunk during our breaks :happy2:

funniest moment of the night...

joinT turing to sultan outside and asking him "whats your name?". the unknown dreadlock mon turns and says "Sultan" then after a few seconds of registering joinT turns back, smacks himself in the head and says "i cant believe i asked YOU what your name was"

:haha:

Thanks to Rony (the man behind Boa), Jerome, Kevin Harcourt, Jeff Button, Sultan (for being a great guy & great sport! looking forward to hanging with him next time) and last but not least, Disko-Kandi!
