tell the truth...you peed your pants when he pulled you over and HE was laughing at YOU.
that is pretty funny though...good for him for reporting it (and for laughing in the cop's face if he actually did so)...something tells me the cop's supervisor won't think it's funny when he has to explain to someone higher up why one of his officers is such a fuktard. |

Technically speaking, IF he was actually speeding, even just 1 km/h over the limit, then he was breaking a law, and the cop had EVERY right to pull him over and hand out the ticket.
Just thought I'd pipe in with that. |

Yeah, even the kangaroo courts would have a field day with that one.
All he would have to do in court is keep drilling into the calibration - the cop may even bring the calibration records for the radar but there's no way he'll know or have records for when the tuning forks themselves were calibrated, and when it's only 1 km/h over the limit, the calibration of the forks *will* matter. |

I'd take that over my recent ticket... 49 over the limit... $360 fine and 6 demerit points :eek:
I would totally fight it, because I was going 99 and the limit was 100, but it happened in quebec and I'm not about to drive back there to go to court. |
