Pretty nice work. Percs are pretty booming but a bt messy as well, I'm not too fond of the overall sound, maybe that's because of the bitreduction on it. Strings are pretty cool, but you know how everybody thinks about supersaws ;) Tho everyone should have made one supersaw trancer in his life lol... well maybe that's not true. :p Nice break with the strings. At 3:25 some keys seem to clash, I think. Bass is a bit too subby, could use a layer on top of it. Few cool edits in the track. Not bad at all m8

beautiful track :wtf:
the breakdown is unbelievable. it is based on a track from batman begins? which one?
the drums are quite exquisite. love it

Nice introduction... very dark.. me likes :D
The percussion is great, although maybe the heights are really a little noisy/distorted. The kick sound however is great.
Loving how this slowly increases intensity, the bass key changes are very sweet.
Nice strings in the midsection, great melodies. <3
Now at the main part. This is really good stuff. I like the melody, although I personally think that the lead saws need a little more variation, they are always in the offbeat.

Anyway, it's one of the best "regular" trance tunes I heard here for quite a while! Keep it up! :)
Mozarts ghost
AAoooowwwlllll... I'm howling you, This is just what I really like.

In opposition of some of the others I do like the "grungy" feeling. It makes it soooo much more "Yeeaahh".

When it cut loose after the breakdown I just needed to get up and jump...

GOOD WORK....

The still jumping Ghost of Mozart

very nice, very melodic with some great rythmic elements- props for creating such a pleasant melodic trance piece and very mixable too- i really like this and might use it in a set or two w/ your permision.

Hey Everyone,

Really appreciate you all taking the time out to let me know your thoughts on my track! I am glad some of you enjoyed the "dirty" feeling that I was going for in this song. I thought it would be a great and welcome contrast to the softness of the breakdown.

iloop, i would love for you to use it in a set, or two, or 10! If you want a high quality cdr mailed to you for free let me know, either by pm, or by email.

nils, all the info about this track is on my site, (you can read it by clicking the information link on my first post) but you already know that since you contacted me directly :)

Thanks!!

All the best,
Ross B

wow dark.. me like
lets see

i like the percs.. bitcrushing is always nice ;)
closed hat maybe a tad too loud imo.. the one hitting "sonaresque" synth stab sounds very much like the one in that rollergirl song where she is totally fit and lies on the floor in a golden outfit..
*spacing out and drooling*

well anyhoo, back to the track.. at 2:23 havent heard anything wrong.. not a big fan of the chord progression yet.. breakdown.. pretty cool.. nice strings.. lush and beatiful.. now this turned up the track like ten notches lol.. well the takeoff truly sucked tho imo.. its a nice track but it lacks alot of energy.. if u wont let me remix it, ill get pissed! this needs a touch by the alfmeister..

Hey man!

I LOVE those short turn aroud with the distorted percussion - very cool!

There are some very cool sounds subtly layered in the background.

I'm not a huge fan of the off-beat bass, though it does sound better when the off-beat synth comes in to match it.

It's been awhile since i've heard a classical peice in a song, but it's refreshing...

I think that this song needs a few more layers, pads that don't follow the offbeat pattern.

Oveall, it's a sweet tune,

Sounds like a cool track to me Ross! I really like the melodies and especially that break, very nicely done.

I was a bit confused by it though, as the parts before the break and after seemed to have a totally different mastering at the percussion level somehow... Was this intentional?
trancinchink
hey man...

just listened to it... and i gotta say, i liiike the break. i'm always very much into classical music. whenever i hear the strings go crazy... that just draws me in.

however, i agree with a few others on the percussion with this track. sounds kinda messy and dirty, not very clean. perhaps the samples you used??

though i did like some of the sound effects... especially that one that sounds like um... lol. dunno how to describe it, but its the cool one that leads into the bassline and out of the break.

overall a cool track, maybe work on the mastering and the percussion
