Trentmoller - Charge and Late Night Cab Driving

I just heard these tracks and I am extremely suprised with the direction these tracks are taking. I really think they are a step backwards. I mean the saxphones are not even used tastefully and they sound like something out of a improv jazz set. I was expecting something a little techier or minimal. Feel free to say anything you would like and flame at will.(But keep it civilized):conf: :conf:

Its a step backwards, as in it isnt a step fowards? What else does a step backwards mean? What I mean to say is that this song doesn't reflect the progress I was expecting to see out of trentmoller even to the slightest degree.

Late Night Cab Driving is a very nice tune...sure it's not similar to a lot of their other tracks, but it's good...

The breakdown in that track is the sickness.

IMO, I think they are both considerably better than Sunstroke and Physical Fraction since I really can't stand that extremely glitchy techno sound in his newer productions. I much prefer his more minimal deep house sound myself, such as Charge and Late Night Cab Driving as well as In Progress and Le Champaigne. I stil don't see what the big fuss over the sax instrumentation is because I think the saxophones give both tracks a nice mellow and lazy vibe, which is quite cool to me. But then again, to each their own...

Guess what! People may like tracks you dont! Have an oppinion or idea, but keep it to yourself unless there is something constructive behind your arguement.
