What the is up with people walking around on the ing dance floor. I could not move. Usually I pick a spot and just dance in that ing spot, but on Wednesday I could not even do that. I felt like a pinball. And what the are 18 year olds doing drinking and then trying to dance. That is not dancing, that is just jumping and pushing people out of the way. If you are trying to ing dance then develop an ear for the beat so you can move to it. I wish I had a cell phone to record some of the dancing going on so I can show it to ya'll. Another thing, if you are going to go on the dance floor, then ing dance. Don't be standing around staring at women and expect them to respond, you ing creeps. I guess I am just not used to such a young crowd anymore. And the last thing I want to say is: People, know your place. Geriatrics don't belong in a club. So, those were my two cents.

...but i did give it to her in the bum! :wtf:

Well, i'll be the first person to say that I actually thought his set was boring and uninspired.

He would build and build and then instead of keeping the energy high, he'd slow the tempo down. WTF :whip: :whip: :whip:

I left at 1:30, it wasn't worth being super tired at work (where i'm posting from).

If it got better later in his set, thats cool, but his first half was pitiful, imo.

I have to agree to a certain extent. I was not to impressed until the middle or end of his set. It just seemed to go everywhere at times. From tech to progressive I was having a hard time figuring out where he was going. There were momentes right when I was like, alright he's got his groove, then the styles would change and it left me hanging.

Overall I think it was a good set. I didnt quite get the feeling from seeing him two years ago @ E50. The last part was bad ass and I didnt want to leave!!

Hey everyone, first time poster...

Dreambeamz, your lasers were SO SWEEET! Thanks for bringing them they really added to the show!

What a great set!! I am somewhat disappointed with PoD2 and was not really looking forward to the night but damn!! I completely agree with whoever mentioned Paul's stage appearance. It was great seeing him move his hands with the music and smile, it showed that he was having a good time!! I absolutely loved it how during the set he would build it up and break it down for the sake of antipation...really got the crowd going! I went ape when he put on Another Way towards the end omg. As for my general experience that night I made friends with this guy Keith and ended up sipping on Dom Perignon in VIP all night, went back to my house and chilled for a few with the crew, drove to Vault-volt for the first time only to find that there is a $10 cover (doh, didn't have any cash on me), went to another friends house and chilled there while he spun, then finally went back to a friends place. Went to bed around 10am on Thursday :)

PvD (even though he won't be reading this), THANK YOU FOR MAKING UP FOR THE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAD WHEN I WENT TO SPACE DURING WMC THIS YEAR TO SEE YOU. I think Wednesday night rivals the best show I have ever been to...

Also, saving the best for last...Samira, if you read this, it was sooo awesome dancing with you at the show :) Hope to chill again soon~

hiyas!!! omg wow! i'm still amazed about how much fun i had wednesday night. i was one of the folks just not really into POD 2 and i have tried numerous times to listen to it. it was worth being sleepy on thursday for sure! as for what has been said in this thread let me say this "to each their own" i had a great time and enjoyed the music. the set was kinda boring at first but paul picked it up and ing banged out the 1150. of course at a pvd show their is always folks from the pre-ta days of mine and other folks so i feel victim to socializing all over the club too. i am going to start working on my pictures tonight and some uploaded tomorrow. i did get the the booth (Thank You sooooooo much again Damien) and got some pretty good shots from there. i had a great night can't wait to see pvd again!!

hey jeremy. i don't get on this much.

i think he played for an angel (MVL miX) and not another way.

PVD was amazing. #1 in my heart always and forever. POD2 is growing on me. i def love POD1 better, but his set gave me more appreciation for the album. i love him so much. the end.

the last part that you said is funny because it seems as if we met bc of the pvd show, but i see you and talk to you all the time. like i'm about to talk to you now......bye love! :)

Chris here,

know most of the TA's even though they don't know me. I'm Dan's friend and most of you know the story of Dan and I getting kicked out of 1150 2 years ago.

But anyways, was there Wed night...and I have to agree with Dan, I thought the music was good. Some in awesome tunes, but it was like, "damn this song in rocks," and then the energy was high, and then all of the sudden, the floor would drop out on me, and both Dan and I would be like, ah..uh...where did it go? It was like 3 good bangin songs and then a chill song.. and then some more bangin-ness, and then 3 songs that all seemed to sound the same.

Don't get me wrong...there were times when I wanted to sign over the custody of my future babies to Paul, but several times during the night I wanted to go up there and say, "damnit Paul, just ing bang the out of these things!" Overall, glad i went, but the set was more of a "driving mix" for me. Great techno, great transitions, but i would much have rather paid $15 for it and listen to it in my car and blare it versus paying $60 (1 for the girlfriend) plus drinks to hear it at 1150 (not my fav venue). A+ set just not a club-worthy set imo.

Mother FUK YEAH! I'm fuking jealous he dropped that. He didn't drop it @ Space! :: cries ::

And i can try and help with the ID's when i get my damn cable back. You guys are missing alot of tracks he could have possibly played. I know PVD has been rocking out to some sort of Martin Roth tune and I didn't see anyone mention any!

Awesome review. It was my 2nd best set that I had ever heard from the guy. (The first was when I saw him Ultra 3 16!!)

Heads up to the person that said they wanted to see PVD again at ultra unless he does his cancel routine. If there is one show he never fails its gotta be Ultra. He's been closing down the Main Stage the last 7 going on 8 years ;)
