If you goto the "CD Reviews" section of this forum and go back a few threads you'd notice that Ive posted a thread concerning the DJ Stein H album. heres the link - http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...p?threadid=2585. So far you're the only other person giving it some mention. I personally think its still a pretty damn good CD too. heh.
As for Oakie, I believe that ppl can't really get into his style these days because he's transgressed into a more complex sound. I agree, he's become more mellow now but he's definitely not for trance beginners.

Definately Tranceport :D A classic that I still listen to every once in a while...

BTW obviously Alice doesn't belong in this thread, but I am a big fan :D Great club music.

Cheers,

Thor....

what about unofficial trance albums? I have a bunch of E-mixes on CD that could very well be albums and ten times better than what is produced and shipped as Global Underground - although the new digweed is incredible.

My faves:
Sasha 2/27/00
Sasha Live at Twilo
tranceboi54
Alice Deejay? heh, she's like overplayed in where i live....

Oakenfold's Tranceport
or
Trance Global Nation 2 wasn't that bad

you are right... music on the production side can hardly be compared w/ live sets and online mixes which we all love to share :). the thing about cds and selections we purchase off the counter are always predictable. Global Underground releases however are supposed to capture the very essence of the parties each one represents.

Pointy
either Armin van Buuren - Boundaries of Imagination, Dj Nonsdrome - Live at Street Parade 99 or DJ Spyhunter - Till Daybreak
i cant choose between those 3 because all of them are just to good to be true

From 1998 or 1997 right?
It must've been one of the first trance albums I bought.
Excellent trackselection, probably one of the best trance albums ever.
