Harry Hill is about as funny as aids.
Top Gear in America was SO funny....!!!!
The bit where Jeremy Clarkson drives up to the camera and says "I've just remembered, I've got plenty of petrol" and speeds off as quick as he can, priceless! :D |

Seen 2 Top Gears this year. First one was the caravan one...appalling staged fire. The rocket one was the same no doubt in my mind - badly acted 'fake' reactions, the flames looked stuck on etc. landing looked fake. Same sort of thing as you see in Jackass 2, David Blaines street magic. Camera tricks, visual manipulation.
Could be wrong though. |

| Looked pretty real to me, but that's not to say that the presenters did jack all, which is a bit of a cop out |

Well, I might've had my doubts but... Did you see the episode with the staged caravan 'accidential' fire. On top of the staged accident before that. That was blatant. So that's one instance of deception already - I don't think anyone would deny that wasn't staged. This latest episode really was badly acted in my opinion, and all the rocket firey stuff (name?) looked very much like it was added on afterwards. The landing looked massively fake, again like it was added on afterwards. The shots were always cuts to the onlookers - you never saw them actually looking at it in shot. On top of all that when it was over and they returned to the studio there was subtleties to be read on their faces as if they were hiding the slightest bit of shame at it. Haven't seen any other episodes though but if, as likely, they've got used to it by now that might explain why these expressions weren't so obvious. |

I'm being silly really, I have no real motivation to bother just had a bad day.
Besides, it was great yes, I was awed by it.
And CSI and Lost are both excellent programmes I'm sure as my country made them and stuff. |

They aren't actors you clown, they are presenters. There is a subtle difference! Whilst some of it may well be staged, id be fairly sure to say all the stuff on there does actually happen be it staged or not. |

Best show ever!
"Top Gear" is shown on a relatively minor network here in Australia,
and yet it still manages to do extremely well in its timeslot every week and has established a cult following.
P.S. I want a Bugatti Veyron!   |
