This week Jeremy tests some hot boring saloons, the Stig drives an F1 car (indoors), Hollywood actor Brian Cox is let loose in the Lacetti and the boys go, er, on a caravanning holiday to Dorset. Here's some more info:

I didn't realise it was a new series, just thought it was a continuation of the same one that was postponed due to the world cup.

Same difference? :p

By the way, who the hell is Brian Cox?

He's been in a shed load of films, you'll probably recognise him:

I couldnt stop laughing at the caravan trip

It was mad! Top Gear is getting better by leaps and bounds with each series...even though i never thought it could be possible.
They didn't test many good cars this week...but really....who cares with all the other cool stuff they did.
Do you think the whole caravan scene at the end was a set up?

No it was a setup :D...they aren't going to burn down someone's caravan then put it on BBC2.
Anyone see when Jeremy got the Jesus look alike guy out and asked his opinion on the car and he said 'it's gay' :D
Martyn
Of course it was a setup, just like when they set fire to the carwash and then decided to just run away, and numerous other things they do when they go out into the real world. Doesn't mean it's not funny though!

Clarksons joke about the bus driver's was gold!
Martin McG
best Top Gear ever

i couldnt move for laughing at that trip, although you just knew it was going to go badly wrong as soon as they crashed in the petrol station

Jackson
True actually about the setup.
I mean remember that AK-47 Jeremy had. If he had live rounds in the magazine it would have gone off in the fire probably. If it didnt have any ammo just imagine trying to explain that one to the fire men!

Any idea whats gonna be on the show this week?

Living in the US most of time I really miss Top Gear now but found a site where episodes can be downloaded www.zapmega.com/topgear so have got my fix.

This week was back in the UK and watched it twice :D On Sunday and then at the airport again on Tuesday, so funny watching it in the lounges as everyone runs to grab a beer and then watch. I think BA flights are delayed pretty heavily between 8pm and 9pm on Sundays :haha:

As much as I'd hate to think it was set up I am pretty sure it was. Why didn't the gas cylinders explode?
