At the MBA level, I love stats-tests are open book. You have a problem, you do it, look in the book if you need a reference, and you pretty much know whether or not you got it right.
Organizational behaviour, human resource management on the other hands makes me want to throw up. Too much fuzzy, gray area. Constant jibberish about how people interact with other people. At the end of the day, no one knows what the hell they were supposed to learn in class. Its just all bull. In my opinion, if you can't put a number to something, then it is worthless. |
Love those classes, on any test you basically bull for every question and as long as the bull is there you get a good grade. No need for spending hours to study your ass off. |

I cried my way through stats- before the final I thought of jumping in front of a car to have a good excuse not to be there- im dead serious- really considered that.
my brain simply refused to work at stats- it was my most painful university experience which considerably lowered my average |

omg, I have considered it before too :haha:
my theory was to jump in front of a car that wasnt moving too fast... that way i'd only get hurt, and not die and hence i wouldnt have to go and fail my exam, lol |

I dropped it twice before finally having a prof who wrote his own SMALL, straight-to-the-point text who didn't bore me to tears. a B and I was outta there.
|
same happened to me, except i didnt get B. Was that prof at UofT by any chance- downtown campus? |
