T.O. next team predictions

I say either Denver or Oakland.

Denver b/c the GM makes all his decisions independently, and won't care about a locker room a-bomb. Plus they've taken chances on players w/ bad reps in teh past.

and Oakland b/c TO would fit right into their ex-felon locker room w/ the personnel they have on board, and Moss/TO would be sick.

what do you think?

let's go through all the teams shall we ...

new england ==> "billy bel" would never want that type of ego on his team. however, corey dillon left the bengals, because of issues with getting the ball less, and marvin lewis's ways. now with the pats, he is less of a pain. maybe it was his frustrations with losing, don't know .. but corey dillon is a changed man in new england. ty law had issues with the pats management, and the pats let him go. could "billy bel" change t.o.'s ways ? if i was t.o., i would take any paycut to be part of the pats, because they are winners, and t.o. just wants the bling bling.

buffalo ==> not a bad complement for moulds and reed, with mcgahee at rb, and could really help losman develop, but i don't think they have enough salary to pay t.o., especially how much they spent on their defense.

miami ==> ricky is enough. they don't need another distraction on their team.

ny jets ==> a possibility, but probably not, because they don't have enough in their payroll.

cincinnati ==> a chad johnson / t.o. combo is not a good thing to mesh together. marvin lewis deft would not take t.o. on his team.

pittsburgh ==> i don't think hines ward doesn't want to take a back seat to t.o., and vice versa. also, bill cowher will kill t.o. before training camp starts.

cleveland ==> ol' romeo could change t.o. wouldn't be a bad combo with owens/ braylon edwards/ antonio bryant . could really help their running game, and their quarterback situation. however, prob don't have enough to pay him.

baltimore ==> not a chance, after what t.o. did to them 2 years ago.

indianapolis ==> no.

jacksonville ==> probably don't have the payroll to pay him.

tennessee ==> see above with pittsburgh. jeff fisher (if he's still with the team next year) would kill him before training camp. however, it wouldn't be that bad, since the titans are really missing derrick mason right now.

houston ==> if they let go of their overpaid offensive lineman, then they may have enough to pay him. however, i don't think t.o. wants to play with a losing team.

denver ==> shannahan wouldn't want his ego around his camp. however, the san francisco connection would probably bring them together. a possible.

kansas city ==> they may have spent too much last year to revamp their defense. they probably don't have enough to pay t.o.

san diego ==> no. they already have problems with the quarterback situation and philip rivers.

oakland ==> randy moss would not want that. however, a randy moss for t.o. trade between oakland and philly could possibly work ? randy in green could work, and he has killed dallas in the past.

dallas ==> no. after that episode in the 50 yard line, many dallas fans would want to kill him.

ny giants ==> no.

washington ==> dan snyder can pull anything. a possibility. however, they may have spent too much on defense, and joe gibbs would probably die of a heart attack if they have t.o.

philadelphia ==> no.

chicago ==> not enough payroll, especially after just signing muhammad to a fat contract.

detroit ==> they have enough problems as it is with the quarterback situation. plus, the garcia / owens situation was hectic in san francisco. would you think garcia wants owens again on his team ?

minnesota ==> they've had issues with randy moss. i don't think they want that again with t.o.

green bay ==> t.o. wants favre. favre wants fatter offensive lineman to protect him. the packers already have driver and walker.

carolina ==> maybe. after seeing t.o. in the super bowl, carolina could be interested. but i don't think john fox wants his attitude on his team.

atlanta ==> they have the money. vick to t.o. wouldn't be a bad idea. a good idea.

tampa bay ==> gruden had problems with keyshawn. i don't think they want that again with t.o.

new orleans ==> they have enough problems at hand at the moment, especially when the season end, and there are definately going to be dark clouds on top of the coaching team, especially haslett .

seattle ==> i think they are content with jackson and engram. plus i don't think they have enough to pay him.

st louis ==> do you think martz wants another visit to the hospital ? i don't think they want that, especially with kevin curtis emerging, torry holt solidifying himself, and isaac bruce is well himself.

arizona ==> not enough money. plus they have boldin and fitzgerald booked solid. however, dennis green could keep him grounded, maybe .... dennis green kept randy moss grounded during his early days ..

san francisco ==> no. management doesn't want him back.

the logical choices :
new england, tennessee, oakland, denver, carolina, atlanta, arizona .

I don't think Denver should bring him in right now, they are on a roll and I think he would disrupt things too much.

I think the only logical teams if they can pay him is Seattle and KC. The other teams who need receivers (Jets, Arizona, Baltimore) have no QB to get him the ball.

The cardinals def. def. do not need receivers. They're stacked with Boldin, Fitzgerald, and Johnson. I'd agree though that KC is a possibility if Vermeil leaves and a new younger coach is brought in(very likely after this year) who figures to start fresh / give TO a chance.

i am probably the only crazy person out there in the world that thinks new england is interested in him.

hey .. if new england picked up corey dillon, chad brown, and duane starks, then why not t.o. ?
Mebot
hey butters, ESPN did an analyst of the possible teams T.O. would pick, kinda like what you did.

They broke it down to 3 teams, Denver, Oakland and i forget the third one. I doubt Oakland would take him.

Whoops, I didn't mean to put Arizona. I completely agree with you and didn't mean to say the Cards. I meant Miami.

I would like for the Seahawks or Chiefs to get him over another team. Oakland defo will not get him. I really can't see him in Denver either.
LeopoldStotch
seahawks could be a good destination for him, since holgrem has 49er connections, and t.o. is a former 49er . but because shaun alexander's ripping opponents right now, i think the seahawks are more inclined towards trying to resign alexander than trying to sign a troubled wr. they can pick up some role player wr, and they would probably be content with that. darrell jackson isn't a bad receiver.

i don't think the chiefs could afford to pay t.o., because they spent a lot of money on their defense during last year's offseason .

good point.

how is it working w/ his contract? I thought the Eagles had to deactivate him after 4 suspended games? What does that mean really? that another team can just pick him up, or do they trade for him? or what?
Spartan
hahaha and nice avatar Leo, Clinton Portis rocks.:disbelief

tribu
Cleveland has the cap room, but they also have some good young talent with Bryant, Edwards, and Northcutt. The Browns need an O-Line, not another receiver.

I think the Falcons are a good bet. Green Bay isn't out of the picture, nor is Jacksonville. These are teams with cap room to sign TO.
K.I.K.E.
Maybe the Falcs.
