my boyfriend is a metrosexual, but only in the way he presents himself...as in, the way he dresses. he's very clean cut and organized and always nicely groomed...uses lotion and facewash, etc...
but as far as how he acts, he doesn't act all gay really. i mean, he's definitely got a sensitive side, which is awesome, but he's not like a whiney little picky bitch like most metros...i don't like metros who act like women and are very snobby and critical...basically like a fag. lol |

it's a heterosexual man that has adopted many female habits, such as color coordination, cleanliness, and a general preoccupation with how one present's onself. this is largely a result of the entry of women into the workplace and higher education, greater economic parity amongst men and women, and marketing. it's not a gay thing, although there seems to a convergence of habits. |

metro sexual is such a stupid term.
just another way to lable people by the way they dress...when will people realize that they're not metrosexual/emo/goth/or any other stupid lable, but simply just themeselves.
giving yourself a lable just means you're not satisfied with yourself enough, so you need to join a group that has lots of members so when people make fun of you, you can think to yourself "pff.. there's lots of people that do this..that guys just an ass.' |

and i agree, but then again people purposefully put themselves into these groups and encourage the labelling... |

i'm most likely categorized as a typical thin, blonde south beach chick...i dress pretty trendy and hang out at all the hot spots with my oversized sunglasses and a mojito in my hand. but once you talk to me, you'll notice i'm pretty laid back and down-to-earth. but i'm fine with that stereotype, i wouldn't expect people to think anything less because let's face it, that's what i look like at first glance.
i hate when people have mohawks and chains hanging everywhere and then gripe about being labeled. |
