Rb2k1 Reaktor Supersaw v2 <- Including Information, Audio Demos, and a Screen Shot .

cYrus Trance Bank for Rb2k1 Reaktor Supersaw v2 <- Great Patches for my Ensemble check out the demos.

I have gotten a lot of positive responses to my supersaw ensemble so i hope it pleases!

All the best,

Cheers Ross

It was made with your ensemble m8, so respect to you for making such an awesome sounding ensemble!

I can honestly say it emulates the JP80*0 amazingly. Supersaw m8, if you want the Jp supersaw sound and the myriads of other well known sounds that derive from it, go buy it!

PC :tongue2

thanks for all ur replies everyone, appreciate it greatly...

while we're at it, why dont we make this a thread for known vsts or synths used by famous artists or in famous songs?

anyone want to add on famous trance songs they know which use a particular software vst sound they know of, feel free to share...

also i kno this is a trance forum, but would anyone happen to kno waht synth is used in most typical snoop dogg songs (that whinining gangsta instrument)

I edited the post above(clickhere) and added a C-Sharp preset for vstation for who wants.

hey francor thanks for the c sharp vstation preset. it gave me a great start on how to get the right sound. after messing with the knobs for a good while, it almost started to sound like the real deal, almost 90 percent, but the thing is its still not that same original screechy saw sound. im having trouble recreating the sound from ur first sample of c sharp, the one that you made with a jp8000. That one sounded EXACTLY like the same synth as original, but with the v-station, im having difficulty achieving that same saw. Any ideas?

also, which preset or patch did u use on the jp8000 to create the take me away and c sharp sounds?

this are awesome recreations. how come none of you ppl have record deals????

Here is the solution...

Learn to program a synth.

OH NO WAY! ARE YOU SERIOUS? OKAYY, WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO EARLIER?? I had NOOO idea that to get a particular sound you have to first program the synth. Thank you, Dr. Obvious.

lol no seriously i tried to program it like krazy from the vstation preset, sounds very much like the real deal, but still, some element is keeping it away from sounding 100% similar to the original c sharp. That's why I am asking for help on how to get it right, or if anyone can build onto FranCoRs preset to make it as accurate as possible. That way if you guys put up a new improved preset, I can compare the improved preset's knobs and sliders with those of FrancoRs preset and learn a bunch about how to program a synth next time to achieve certain sound qualities.

no problem :p, u need to eq like retard to get a similar sound (try boost the mid range) ofcourse i added external delay, reeverb etc. to both samples.
I used a basic supersaw patch in the JP to make the sound, try other synth than V-Station to get a similar supersaw sound (Infection ens of DJ Ambin is good, SuperwaveP8, and the above mentioned rb2k1 ens for reaktor works well).

I dont understand sorry (my english sucks badly xD), the take me away lead was made in V-Station (btw the preset is uploaded in post above).
And if u mean how i start to program the synth, just start with the "init program" or a blank patch if u mean this :conf:

PS: Kane, what u mean with record deal? :conf:

By recreating this sounds so well im sure you must have drawn up some of your own synths and productions that are signable to a label.

Personally I think the Pro-53 could do a good job of a supersaw sound. I'll take a stab at it with it and see what I come up with.
dj_kane
do you run your pro 53 through cubase?
