Well Im quitting in phases. I quit my day to day smoking around thanksgiving. Then I only smoked when I drank. My goal is to quit for the year so my last cig was just before midnight on new years eve.

Long story short, count me in.

Welcome on board, I still smoke here and there. I haven't had the time to get really drunk and party so I'm not sure about that but when i smoke pot i usually crave, though don't buy, a few cigarettes.

Been quittin' on and off for the last 5-6 months now. Haven't smoked since Jan 1. This time my wife quit smoking with me - which makes things easier... Tho I do think about it, it's not like I can't overpower it. Now, it's a matter of my will power vs. habit. No patches, gum, or any other trinkets. So far the score looks good. 5 Days sans cancer sticks.

give a few more days, drink lots of juice or water
have you thought of using a medication? I used Zyban
and quit successfully a year and a half ago, sure people
might say that is cheating, but, the tobacco companies
cheated when they change and or added stuff to the smokes
to make them more addictive, besides, after a month or so
you will not need the pills, I say use the medication,
as you deserve to be smoke free and so ends my little
book on quitting, thanks for reading :)
