Nothing received, lads, don't blaim it on me :tongue3
Still in favour of direct info forwarding; can't expect mr2 to be online 24/7. Surely we're trustworthy :toothless
pity the tl is to be revealed already; would be cooler if everyone were to pm their track to mr2 upon completion of their part, so he could pm it to whoever is on the covers.
edit: or in this case directly to vA| |

| I totally agree, revealing the tracklist spoils half of the fun. |

freezzz: that was copied from the first post, don't blame me ;) |

I believe it was me who designed those covers last time. I'm glad you liked them!
This time I'll take a break and let vA|sYn[D]rOm do the official covers for CD3 if he wants to. |

really curious about metatrons tribute, my personal favdj here :) |
thanks man. mines nothing too special. just a pleasantly energetic track that builds and compliments off Evelon's and broadens the story a bit. :)
i have some critisisms with the mix so far, but overall it's very nice. can't wait to see what Bonzai does and how Rockabye and RX finish it off. :D |

You certainly have a flair for that - Top job.
Need to start thinking of a name for the mix AND the style of CD4!!!!!!!!!!! |

yeah, cover is really sweet. only thing i could complain about is the quality of the image of the storm you're using. it looks somewhat bleached or something... But as mr2gti is saying, you have a talent for it and its awsome other than that :)
about the next theme, i did a mix a year ago called summerish vibes. the tracks in it where to remind the listner of summertimes. either good memories or nice images in the head. turned out to be an excellent mix and i got great feedback from it. yes, i "stole" the idea more or less from the isos series, but that doesnt really matter imo.
or, we could make a mix series like a journey through time. say we have 14 songs and we two or three massive tunes from each year, starting from 1996 or whatever. that would be kinda cool as well :) |

Thanks guys for the comments on the covers! And as for the quality of the picture, it was because I changed the resolution by mistake, so I've re-done it. The cover which you'll see now is good quality and not blurred/bleached.
As for the theme for CD4, well anything's possible. I really like the idea of the summertimes one. An uplifting summer trance set would be really enjoyable to listen to, plus it's not an area this series has covered so far.
As for the journey through time mix, that would work well, and as far as I know it's quite original. However I was to take part in that mix, I'd have to go near the end. I don't remember much trance in 1996 as I was only 6 years old! :p
Are we limited to just trance? If not I'm sure some Djs would like to mix house, techno, drum&bass or chillout etc. It depends on what most of the people here mix besides from trance. Or we could start off chillout, progress through to trance and end up hardcore!! :D That's exactly what I've done in my new unreleased mix 'Evolution' (The Evolution is coming...) |

Little update to keep you guys informed.
I recieved the details 2 days ago. I downed it, listened to the mix. It's on the hard side; dj Metatron added this unbelievable tune (what else is new). I have a tune to go with that (really nice one imo), but when I mixed it in, it felt like the energy was draining a bit, so I'm now trying to add a little energy to the track itself, that's what's taking me a little longer.
I'll keep you posted. |
