I suggest u use tracks wiv nice simple beats. My mate asked for my help and i got him to buy tracks like Delerium - Underwater (A & B Remix), Kosheen - Catch, Iio - Rapture (Riva Remix), so if u use tracks like these cuz they all mix well together aswell as having a fairly simple bass pattern. Other tracks from ur list id suggest using are :

| I believe that the best records to teach someone how to mix with are anything by Paul Van Dyk (that signature bass line never changes), Ferry Corsten, or Tiesto...but by far, PVD works everytime. |

Project T WTF!!!!!!, u sed in UK forums u are 16, your record collection is in huge, most of them are pretty recent too (last year 1/2 or so), loads of those records only came out recently, well in the record shops in Notts anyway, and they're still like 5/6 quid each style, how the do you afford all those records????
sweet collection by the way, pretty similar to mine combined with my mates, 'DJ Libor' on these forums but he never posts stuff :rolleyes: |

I've been collecting for 3 years now, but like crazy in the last year, coz I got my dex in November. I get £5 a week of me dad and I used 2 hav a paper round, I get most of my vinyl on the Mondays they are released, so it is around £2-3 each. I'm on the hunt for some nice hard trance , especially Flutlicht - Icarus, wan that desperately :D |

I see, what record shops you got there in Newcastle, here we got HMV, this shop called Funky Monkey (funky house lovers) and a selectadisc (oh, more house) :mad: so finding a decent trance track takes tiiiime round here, I have to search for ages, sifting thru all the acid house and hip hop e :rolleyes:
Hard trance, hhhhmmm, my fave, which my mate has, is 'Fiasco - Live In Bilbao (DJ Gert Remix)' a couple I also got:
Pale-X - Eightball ... new track, Dutch import I got on saturday, this is some energetic
Ernesto vs Bastian - Heaven :eyes: :eyes:
I'm kinda in a similar position, I got too much uplifting/melodic trance & not enough hard stuff, I end up playing Mauro Picotto - Verdi in every set :rolleyes: |

| Yeah, we got HMV here, there's one in the Metro Centre which I use, or a huge HMV in Newcastle. I get mosta my gud stuff off the net, like JUNO, they always have some good stuff in, quite cheap after you order around 5, then shipping and insurance doesn't increase, most of the in HMV is just house, all sorts of the , some Hard House is okay, as long there is dubs. Wish I could actually get a copy of Verdi, there was only scratched ******s in HMV, I like to play Connected To The World loads though, there is a few vinyls that used to be in my main box, but I've worn them out; Gamemaster, Field Of Joy, and a couple others, can't remember which 1s right now tho. Always looking for new copies of those two though :) |

| That's some sweet tunes you have there, I'm after Unplugged, Mixed and Motion, it would be sweet to have the DotNL mix of Cry and Lost In Motion, both of those rock the house :) I'm particularly interested in that 4 Strings remix you have and the Blank & jones song, did you get them from HMV, or that other shop, I can see my money dissapearing already :D |

| thanx :D those 2 tracks you mentioned are two of my favourites. I got the 4 strings mix track from HMV about, uuuuhhh 6 months ago, for £7.50, and I never seen it anywhere since :( , so I dunno about finding it. The Thrillseekers mix of blank & jones is sweeeet, with the trademark crystal clear thrillseekers sound, perfect layers...... :) :) I got it from 'Funky Monkey' but I've seen it since in HMV so you might be in luck, a must get if your into melodic, uplifting trance ;) Yeah, having the DOTNL mix of cry would be awesome, never seen the vinyl though :rolleyes: |
