one of my best nights out in a long time!!! WOW!!
DJ Dan killed it...and the music over all throughout the night was killer!!!! I honestly did not want this night to end....I wanted to dance my heart out forever. I honestly had the time of my life!!!
Great seeing TA's out tonight...special shout outs to Tristan, Sasha, Dan Eric and Steve...I love u guys!!!
I'll post the few pics I was able to take soon :(
soo dead tired..still havent slept..dont really want to either :p

Boa was alright... my ears are ringing...they couldv'e turned the music down just a nudge... and I am speaking like a 13 yr old boy today from screaming so loud in peoples ears last night.

LOL, good night...love techno...Stretch and Hooker were probably my favourite (just personal preference), DJ Dan was pretty wikkid..
Favourite part of the night... MEntion to someone that I am heading downstairs...but then I hear a tune...OMG
TURN UP THE MUSIC... I look for She_Fitz, but she is no where to be seen, so I grab Tom-E-Tech and my friend Mark and tell them to dance with me... LOL...love that track... She_Fitz comes running up to me...she says what a good friend, you didn't even look for me....lol.

Had a great time last night. My first time at the new Boa. Took some getting used to plus it still looked a lot like sound emporium. But as the night progressed the vibe was a lot better. I found the sound to be a bit too much at times but overall the lighting and sound was good.
DJ Dan was better than I expected. Dropped a bunch of classics and some good TUNES. His set had good flow. Then came Bryan Cox and totally surprised me. Loved his hard house/techno-ish set. I was so spent after his set. Went home a happy camper.
Danced up a storm with a bunch of TAs last night. Great to see everyone having a blast. I love partying with you guys, always such an awesome vibe! |

ended up going for a friend's bday...when we arrived just before 11, there was a lineup outside cos the club hadn't even opened yet. i have never opened a club before haha. wierd.
anyways, i liked the new setup a lot. it got a thumbs up from my friends and i because "there were lots of places to pee and sit!" thus, no lineups for the bathroom, and plenty of couches where i could rest my weary body. and while it was packed, it never felt too crowded. i felt that the music was too loud (thank god for earplugs), but i think that was my only real complaint. i even liked the music, for the most part, and i didn't think i would. stretch and hooker were really good, as was the beginning of dj dan's set. then, he forayed into the dreaded rock remix/anthem territory and totally lost me. rock remixes, will i ever escape you?!!?!? i ing hate them. bryan cox was waaaay to hard and stompy for my liking, so went downstairs and caught a bit of matt coleridge's set, which i enjoyed.
i feel really sorry for anyone who had to try to have a conversation with me last night. :o omg.
and now, back to bed! |
