Review: DJ Dan @ Boa (pg. 3)

This was a wicked night; even though I was dead tired from System on Friday and then work on saturday, once I gave myself some time to rest and got into the party mood, it was seriously fun rocking out with everybody. Best was having that whole circle of TA's in one spot and just walking around a little area and partying it up with everyone :D :D
I sooooo needed a weekend like this!! And again, happy bday to all the bday people (jen, tristan...and uhhh, i think thats it? :conf: ) |

It was wicked times. I was tired as hell so I was sitting down alot lol, but I was still super happy to be there! My first time driving to T.O. by myself ever! haha! The new boa is pretty cool, but the layout may need abit of a change, and the sound turned down just abit :p *riiiiiiiiiing*
other than that, wicked times! :D |

First time at the new Boa and I really wasn't impressed.
Got there around 12 thanks to Floorwhore and left at about 4. I wasn't feeling the music at all.
- The sound system I think was better at the old venue. But then again - it was a theatre.
- Don't like the setup of the DJ booth. The setup at Turbo was the best.
- Entering through the back was kinda weird.
- No Revs :whip:
It was great chatting it up with Highroller on one of the many places to sit (nice touch!).
Highlight of this party really was hanging out with all the TA's at the back and meeting some folks who I used to party with back in the day. It was also nice to FINALLY meet Jennypie. :)

Didn't know you drove down yourself..you could have followed us home...
I hate driving alone after a party. One of use could have gone with you even. |

Got in early enough to spend a chunk of dance time with b-boy Tristan.
Enjoyed S&H set the most....sorry to have missed BLC downstairs tho. by the time I clued in, it was too late. next time Colin!
Spent most of the time at the back with TAs and friends dancing up a storm. The vibe was great! I saw some oltimers haven't seen in a while and met some new TAS as well. We were a good bunch and we had much fun didn't we?:D and Ben - I have flashbacks of you gogo dancing - RAWK ON Brotha :tongue3 It was nice how most of us managed to stick around and enjoy each others company. nice partay joinT! good hosting! glad you got Sweet Kurfew back on course ;) hugs.
Anyways,this was my first time at the new BOA and i must say, it does have potential. The sound is awesome! awesome! awesome! I have missed it much. and I love the washrooms all over the place. but hopefully the upstairs DJ booth won't last there too long tho ;)
oh and BOA door staff- nice to have you guys back. Keep up the good work.
and FINALLY Thank You God, for giving us back BOA.
and yes! my feet are rather BUSTED!

I saw John Aquiviva back in Oct of 2000. Btw. Worst party EVER!
To tell you the truth the only thing that has changed since Turbo
is the location of the dj booth. Which was definately the best
spot to be for sound Saturday night.
Most dj's would kill to have that big of setup at home.
SICK.
Turbo didn't have much in the way of lighting. Only thing to say
about that is, I see they've moved the disco balls downstairs.
But all that aside. I had at huge night and it was great to meet
some of you. I apologize but the only person's name I
remember is Tristan's and only because it was his birthday.
Happy Birthday. I'm glad you had a good one.
Dj Dan was awesome and Byran Cox kept it going.
That was one for the books.
