Katie Holmes was thrown out of a California cinema when a vibrating gadget she was clutching disturbed fellow film fans.
The fiancee of superstar Tom Cruise was holding a buzzing aid against her pregnant stomach, as she believes it is comforting to the foetus.
But it failed to soothe the nerves of audience members, who quickly tired of the humming device.
"People didn't care that she was a star," a witness said. "They just wanted to see the movie."

| mmkay... I would figure with Tom's money he should be able to afford his own movie theater at home. so, the only logical explanation : they wanted to pull Peewee Herman in public place. You know, exhibitionist style... |

Well if you think about it yeah, he could and most likely does own a large room dedicated to viewing movies. However, it's probably tough to get freshly-released movies delivered to a house for two viewers; cinemas and studios want to make profit from theatrical releases. |

I have nothing against them. They're people, we're people. I do, however, have a strong dislike for people who are all, "omg0rsh such and such a celebrity was drunk here!" etc. People get drunk in public all the time, the fact that a person who has released an album or starred in a movie shouldn't make a single difference. |
