take everything you said, and point it back to you. Holy crap man, listen to details! the marco v mix you are referring to is not the one im talking about. i cited the wrong record (my bad), but see below!
the jean mix has percs made up of hi hats, and then a speed garage type bassline, while the one he played last night had the marco v type bassline... tribal kicks and a tribal bass with intermittent claps. then the dj jean synths, but mixed in a new order, and without the breakdown between the moans and when the synth melody kicks in. This track was structured totally different. We have heard this track before in an important set: Marco V @ plush in 2005. That is because this is Marco V's 2005 remake.
It does sound a lot like the jean remix, but sorry, it isnt. The jean was one of the first records i ever bought and ive really played it out alot. However, to settle this, ill play the jean version to start off my radio show on friday, and if that is the same song that neoh, elena and vlad heard, then ill bow to master mark, but if it isnt, I demand my own funky title. |

o ya, since the 2005 remix (or maybe its 2004) is not a vinyl release im kinda on thin groud here. But we talked to marco V before his show and when he signed my record he siad he was playing a new version of it he had just made... so there ya go.
anyways, mark does know his stuff and i didnt want to getting into a knit pick fest here with him. anyways, why did you leave early mark, jules had better setlater, im sorry you missed it. peace/ |

| Excellent vid. That was my first major Trance event and I was thoroughly impressed. I can't wait until Armin comes back to see him. I'll throw up some photos and videos sometime this week when I get them from my friend. |

First, thanks to everyone who came out as good times were had by all! Yes, that was me who ended up dancing on the speakers for a second or two. I blame some jager shots for that.
Secondly, technical issues aside, that was a fun set dropped by myself and Mr Taylor. The CD deck has some cabling issues and some moisture built up on a record that caused it to skip in the middle of a mix. Can't have em all I guess.
Elena, as for why type of music I was playing, I think I mentioned it was ROCK N ROLL! SuperstarJules DancePar-Tay music yeah?
Jules was a pretty awesome guy and we spent some time just talking about travelling and family. The pictures from the show are up on his site too.
Great crowd and a good way to start the NYE weekend. |

What an intense night that was!
I was sweating like a mofo... too hot at the front especially.
Its been a while since I saw Jules but it reminded me what a great showman he is.
Its very entertaining to watch somebody like that...
The first time I saw him he was even more all over the place, but I guss he is getting old too now so he slowed down a lil :P

While jewels was playin some "easy listening" tunes, Aqva was sluttin it up all over the club...
miss apri was a bit knackered due to the lack of sleep past few days, as was I
but then she gathered some energy and started bouncing all over the place along some pounding techno tracks!

those were the best tunes of the night along with couple of tracks that were quite epic but cant ID them.
Good to see Julian after a long time. Both him and Danny warmed up the dance floor for jules.
Good job gentleman and you can tell you guys had fun.
Just wish we had more business cards for our radio shows to hand out! arghhh
