Anyone buy this months Future Music magazine? There is a 78 minute quicktime movie on John 'OO' Fleming in the studio showing you how he recently remixed The Flash Brothers new tune!
It is actually very educational movie and to see how he completes a remix down to every fx, hat and loop created! The guy is a bloody genius and just watching this as made me realise how much work goes into a remix - from a pro's point of view! His studio is pretty cool having what you'd expect, but the Alesis Andromeda certianly got my attention!
Worth checking out if you can get a copy! |

Hi, Thanks for the info but really lets get real here after 4 years of trying to complete a good tune im almost on the line of giving up, I got all the software that is needed to a good tune, a fast PC , truck load of trance samples... but u know what not even a JOOF video can help one make music for real,
I dont mean to sound rude, but really i think its just a waste of time !
If some here can proof me wrong, then i dare ya to get the video, watch it, and then ..... well i`ll leave the rest to you.
Its the same thing one can find on TA nothing new really its just a video of JOOF making music.
Dosnt mean if i can watch PVD mix live and smack bang after that i to can mix mix heheh

Can't see what you are getting at? Its your hard luck if you are not cut out for creating music! Doesn't mean this will not be informative to other members! |

Hey. Its not so much meant for showing you how to make a remix. Its not in depth, it doesnt show you a step by step giude on how the remix was even done. What it is meant for, is to show you whats possibile with creativity. Its meant to give you inspiration, showing you that while difficult, with some hard work put toward your track,you can accomplish really awesome, original sounds. After watching it, I had a great urge to start making trance again and it definitely filled in a lot of the inspiration I had lost. If you have the chance, get ahold of this issue and watch the video. Its highly recomended by me.
