and about spelling, have you noticed we are using english characters only? using them to spell words from a different language?

like for instance your use of "v"? if you wanna type russian, switch to a russian font.

nonsense. next time you're in a major electronics store, assuming they have this in stock, take a look at an Ektako electronic dictionary. You will notic that the English letters coincide with Cyrillic letters. For example J will be the Y sound in Russian, the ZH will make that J sound, ala the word June, etc.

So, saying that we can't use English to express another language is nonsense. Also, how about captions in movies in TV? They always nail it.

what's wrong with doing it phonetically though?

and trust me, those electronic dictionaries will be hard to find in israel, especially ones for two foreign languages :p

Actually not really. If i'm not mistaken Ektako is an Israel based company. Furthermore, you're not going to tell me there's no Russians in Israel now are you :wtf:?
