I am very sorry that he had screwed himself soo much wit the drugs, though :(

noo Dude i know those songs are Hot - Greece 2000 Traffic but He Plays The Same Songs over and over i saw him on ulta fest that was in sept and now it the end of nov and he played the same thing now when you got a spot like that and people pay 40 $ to see you I think you should play some sick new stuff too so later you wont have People saying that they would rather pay 40 $ for him to put on Tranceport Lol

I will never spend that much money to see Paul Smokingpole ever again. His set in the begining was lifeless and had no flow and he trainwrecked twice and then started playing what sounded like an Armin Set.... I will never bother to see P. Smokingpole ever again!!!!

Add in Global Underground - New York, his two years of Cream CDs and the Miami Essential Mix - that would all be worth $40. (Then again it prob. all is down at the local CD shop right now.)

I really feel bad for you boys and girls that actually paid money and did not get your money worth even a bit. I completely agree that Oakenfold has been slacking off in terms of mixing, new track selection, production, etc. At least in clubs. Heard few radio sets he had earlier in the year and they are still reflecting just what an amazingly talented mixer he is. As far as live performances in NYC are concerned I guess the highlight of his carreer in NYC has been last Hammerstein Ballroom performance on the Trancegiving Night...Since they started doing in Crobar only two things were accomplished: the party got expensive with every year and with every year Oakie becomes worse and worse. I saw him on the 1st Thanksgiving party 2 years back now and it was HORRIFIC and we actually said goodbye to "live" Oakenfold, at least in NYC. I think he is just finishing up his carreer as a DJ, although for the love of trance, I dont understand why would you want to finish up LOW when THE WORLD IS YOURS!!!!!! Best locations for gigs (Cuba, Cape Town, China, Brazil, Aussie to name a few), best music made available (think how many white labels this guy gets IN A DAY!!!!) I just dont get it...

I think he gets too stoned before spinning which screws everything up!

Awesome pictures! Thanks for posting! Your pics from the other festivals are great also - esp. Armin from the last Ultra.

I see you like taking pics of the visuals as well. Did Paul have his usual 'Perfecto' stuff going on this night?
