Paypal email...is this Legit?

OK, My friend just recieved this email from paypal...i'm not sure if its real or not. Sounds like it could be a scam.....can anyone help me with this?
Heres the email:

But at the moment he can log onto his paypal account with no problems. He's emailed paypal asking if its legit but has had no reply yet. |

Doesn't look legit to me, There are lots of email scams out there claiming to be from the actual sites, They would then point to a url, But if you move the mouse over it, you will noticed the URL is completely different from the one posted within the email, So beware, They might try to get your personal info, Or worst, Install a virus. |

ok, just found out the email link leads to:
http://1-workgood.ne1.net/
When u click on it, it looks exactly the same as Paypal. Is it just a mirror site? Or are paypal re-directing the URL? |

its redirecting. i got that email a while ago, ignored it. nothing happened.
log in to paypal thry paypal.com and see if they need any info. |

| pay pal will never ask you to do that. They won't ask you to click links either. |

| That website looks very suspicious. I wouldnt recommend logging in through it as its probably storing your email and password details. |

let me guess, there is a link in the email that leads you to a website that looks like paypal? but you will noticed slight differences especially in the URL address. |

WTF!, Are you crazy, You could've infected your machine, NEVER OPEN SUSPECIOUS URLS! The coding on the URL could install a virus without you knowing. If you get an email with a suspicious link, Don't be stupid and open the link, Delete it imediately. |

Dont use internet exploder. Have your browser run only activeX and jscript's from sites that you ok. Simple fix. Are you that paranoid? |

This is exactly why I'm using Firefox more often the IE, It's safer to use since Firefox doesn't use activeX. |
