Tyler's roommate prepared some amazing food and I have to give mad props to this mother of 3 who despite a cancellation of a babysitter still made last-minute arrangements so that Tyler's party could go down without a hitch. What a stellar and sweet lady--Tyler I thanked her in person but please give her my message again...on behalf of all TAs because I'm sure everyone agrees with me...;) :D

Sorry if I wasn't myself at Tyler's, everyone! I was ing yawning every two seconds because I woke up at 5 am yesterday morning after getting HOME FROM WORK at 2:30 am!!!! It was an insane day and so I was totally falling asleep at around 9:30 pm and had to recharge at home...RECHARGE I DID ;)

Holy Jesus, Allah, and Vin Diesel combined.
You know, you sometimes get to hear a DJ completely destroy a club, but Marcel Woods ing ANNIHILATED Viva last night. He was dropping soo many bombs last night, it felt like a nuclear war of tunes. In 2.5 hours that man took my perfectly healthy body, and destroyed and ravaged it to the point, where at 4:30am, I could barely move myself on the dancefloor. I think only by like 3am, I turned to Sasha and told him that I've lost my mind like 4 times already, and Marcel was only getting started.
This was the best set I've ever heard in my life. Anywhere. Yes, there are great sets from Armin, Ferry, Dumonde, and so on; but to pack that much insanity into 2.5 hours is just .... beyond words.
Music: 11/10
I don't think I can say much more. Words fail me now. , I don't even know what he spun last night. It wasn't really Trance, and it wasn't really Techno, the only description that comes even close is God Music. I was seriously floored at ever single minute of his set. He didn't have one bad or even decent song in the whole thing - every single friggin song was absolute killer. And those beats. OMG. Those hard, relentless, banging beats. I absolutely love it when a DJ surpasses your expectations to the millionth degree.
Tygon did a nice job of warming the place up for Marcel. Only caught like half an hour of his set though. :(
Mark Oliver opened up nicely with Ernesto vs. Bastian, but at that point I was completely spent, so even a great set from him wouldn't have kept me there.
Club: 10/10
Viva is an awesome venue. It's located in some weird, alternate dimension where there's more room to dance 2 metres in front of the DJ versus the back of the club. Lights were top-notch as well. Sound was great as well. Every single beat was rocking my ears and body hard, with no distortion. Couldn't have asked for more. Oh, and you gotta love those dildo water bottles. :haha:
Crowd: 10/10
I think about the front half of the club was nothing but TOTAs, sounds about right? Twas great - I loved seeing all you just go insane to every single song - gives me a rush of energy like nothing else. Recognized so many of you (apologies for not introducing myself - I usually leave the introductions and talks for when a set is boring; last night i only wanted to do one thing - dance), met a bunch of you too - hopefully I'll remember all of you.
Me@t K@tie: great meeting you in person and putting a face to the buddy I spent wasted so much time with in the godforsaken thread. :p
