I have to say sander knows how to kill a party.. the trancy part was a bit much but ok.. I was the guy going crazy in the front left of the party right by the booth.. sander never disappoints.

P.S. Josh is the king. Party ponytails, Australians, and Tony rock.

Those damned Australians... invading our clubs and crashing pre/post parties... sheesh :p

My God, this entire weekend was a write off... To be honest, both Friday & Saturday have sorta blended into one. Or rather, whenever I try to recall what happened on Friday, I get memories of Saturday instead.

For some reason, I didn't it notice the packedness a bit later on in the night. It wasn't empty by any means, but for some reason I was still able to put up with the crowds, which is highly unusual for me.

I quite liked the little trancey section Sander chucked in there as well.

Now for some much needed replenishment of... well... everything.

I had fun!

Yes it was kind of packed (for System I guess) but I never found it to be over packed! There was always some room to move around if you knew where to look!

anyways

I really liked Brad Copelands set! He rocked out some killer tunes! Definitely one of if not my favorite local DJS! He always kicks ass live!

And I liked Sander a lot more this time around then the last time I saw him play out! Really liked the beginning / middle part of his set but he started to lose me @ the end when he started to rock out all of the trancey / progressive stuff *booo* so I took off shortly after 5am!

good times!

My night started off very well with a pre-meet at shanny's were Cuzo and Vrk and a few others were there. Had a couple of drinks chilled a bit and headed over to the club. I think what made my night even more special was that I didn't have to wait in line and didn't even pay cover. Got into the club around 11 still pretty empty and Sydney Blu was laying down some killer tracks, got the vibe starting early which I liked, by the time Sander came on the club was more full and he was a madman on the decks laying down some sweet dark prog.

By 1-1:30 the club was rammed and there wasn't any more room to dance. I'm not sure why the decided to turn up the sound system but they did and all I could hear after that was just the bass, no beats really so I decided I needed a change and headed over to the front room, boy was I glad I ever did... Adam Greene was laying down some killer tribal tunes in there and I spent the next 2hrs in that room dancing up a storm, whoever he is he knew how to lay it down proper.

All in all I had a mind-blowing time and will always remember that my last night at System was a very memorable one.

music 9/10
crowd 8.5/10
vibe 15/10

LOL!

By Brad being a "local" I think you mean "domestic". hah He's from Ottawa (I think), and resides in Mtrl? Wow I have no clue.

Music was great but the crowd... was giving me suicidal thoughts, pulled my laces from runners and tied up a noose. I was about to go to the washroom to end it but then BAM!- I look here then look there, I was stunned like witnessing Moses part the red sea. What did I see? Room to dance!!! from that point on I was in luv with myself finding it hard to keep it in my pants :whip:

it was a great nite but nothing spectacular, the begining of his set was fantastic!!! but it didn't last.

what remix of
freeform five - no more conversation
did he play??

great tune to start off his set with.

it went a bit too progy and a little bland later on, it got picked up a little bit then went back again, i kept on going back and forth from thru rooms hoping he would really pick it up.
not as good as the last time i saw him.

the visuals were awesome. well, oiled, come, ride, my muscle car. and that funk funk funk funk.
i'm a total visual guy.

I wasn't there... but _I_ would play the Mylo remix, and I hope he did.
