ok, this is what I want, I have Battery sampler, but i find it too much hassle to use (I KNOW ITS A PRETTY EASY SAMPLER TO USE)
i want a VST so simple, u import the sample, attach the sampler to a channel and viola..
preferably a sampler that only holds ONE sample, and that automaticly pitches the sample due to where on the keyboard/piano roll u press..
free, or not, please, there must be such a thing :conf: |

| I've used Tobybear's Helios, it does just what you want, it has the capability to load one sample with an ADSR envelope and some other simple functions.... I can't remember if it supports looping though... |

| Ableton's built in sampler, (descriptively titled) Simpler, is exactly what you're looking for. Unfortunately it's not available as a VST :( |

| imo the best thing to do it, run fl as vst/rewire. that way you will have a full sampler and ofcourse the choise between step-sequenser & piano roll without the need for lots of vst samplers that kill your cpu. |

something excactly like simpler what was I had in mind, I`ve also tried using FL as rewire/VST, but it kills the arrangement overview for me.. hence i dont use that solution..
I tried the Todybear Helios, and it was excactly what i was looking for, only thing that the preview button didnt work, so that one goes out the window too..
I also looked at the V-Sampler, but way too complicated..
thanks for suggestions everyone :) |
