| i thought about it but i was brought up this way and it really feels weird for a girl to pay. Its kinda embrassing for me. All chinese wants to have face, and chinese girls tend to judge guys on how gernous they are. it sux! |

Yeah man, i'm in a similar position. I've just gone into full time work but my gf is a student. Shes from HK origin (She was born in a local hospital though! - Inside Joke).
Her family is wealthy, got a nice big brand new house, 5 cars ect ect. The problem is, the longer you leave it, the more she'll get used to it and it'll be harder to break the habit. So sooner rather than later.
Maybe say u need to save up for a christmas present for her, that way you can phase it out and she'll get used to paying abit more. Also tell her that you can't afford to keep doing this as u wanna start saving for the future or something.
You don't wanna just turn round and say your not gonna pay for drinks anymore...she'll immediately think you're losing interest or she's done something wrong...you need to make her focus on something positive about the situation like...You wont be buying her drinks...but you'll get her a nice christmas present or save for your future together (the latter depends on how long you've been together).
OR.....Don't drink as much/at all....I'm sure if your not drinking At all she wont make you pay the bill. |

Lets say i live in a million dollar house, She lives in a 4.5 million dollar house!! Everytime we go out drinking the bill comes out over 200-300 bucks(both of us drink alot and often) Usually i have to pay all and for her friends also. Its getting way over my budget.

Thats his parents cash though...they might not give out money easily. And plus if they go out 3-4 times a week @ $200-300 a time...Thats still $600 - 1200 A week!
The girl should atlest pay once a week IMHO :o |
