Conan vs. Leno vs. Letterman

Leno: Monologue master. Jaywalking is fun sometimes. Also it's nice when someone like Harland Williams comes on to do a remote. Skits are okay, like when Gilbert Godfried or that other drunk guy comes on. SON OF A BITCH! Interviews suck.
Letterman: Laughs rediculously hard at unfunny things. Cracks a smile at the occasional appearance of something funny. Will it float? Do I give a ? Make it interesting by testing severed rat heads or something. Unfunny interviews.
O'brien: Can make anyone laugh. Monologue sucks most of the time. Skits shaky sometimes, but everyone has off days. Funny remotes/interviews.
On all three the goodness of the interviews are largely determined by the guest interviewed. Except on Letterman, where the atmosphere of the place seems to suck most of the life out of anyone, even Dana Carvey, if they come on. |

it's close between leno and conan .
they are both good in their own way ... leno is good, because he knows how to rip the famous popular people .. i don't know, but in my opinion, he has the best interviews out of the 3 guys .. he's not bad, as letterman .. i still can't see past his dry humor ..
but conan is good, but not great .. love his skits and monologues .. his interviews are ok ..
jon stewart is funny .. but he is not part of the poll, so exclude him .

| Conan wins hands down: the driving desk, screen with moving mouth > all others. Everything he does is funnier than all other late night shows. Leno just isnt funny to me at all, Letterman is alright sometimes. |

leno is the worst one out there. letterman would rip him and he did initially. furthermore, the great Jonny Carson always liked and said that letterman should take over after him. fortunatly, for hardcore fans, letterman has pride and dignity and a great mentor. |
