Married With Children

this has to be the greatest TV show in the history of TV shows

Jefferson: What year did the Cubs last win the World Series?
Al: 1908.
Peggy: And yet you can't remember the year we were married?
Al: Same year, 1908. Only difference is, baseball is still interesting.
Peggy: Maybe that's because they score more than once a season.

---

Fat Woman: I want my money back. These shoes are as useless to me as a comb is to you. I've only worn them once, and they split at the sides.
Al: Let me explain this. It's just like an elevator. There's a two-ton weight limit. What say I just nail the soles to your feet? It'll give you more traction when you're pulling the ice wagon.
Fat Woman: You'll be hearing from my attorney!
Al: Is that the law offices of Haagen and Daaz?

---

Al: A fat woman clip-clopped into the shoe store today and said, "I need something I'd be comfortable in." So, I said, "try Wyoming."

---

Al: A fat woman came into the shoe store today and asked for something to wear for a walk in the woods. Jokingly I suggested a sandwich sign saying "don't shoot, from the front I look human."

---

[Al is squeezing shoes on Enid, a fat customer]
Enid: See? I told you I was a size four.
Al: No, ma'am. "Fore." is what you should yell when the shoe comes off your foot. Are we done here?
Enid: I'm not sure I like this shade of blue.
Al: Well, how's this? What say you stand with these shoes in front of the mirror over there and I'll come up behind you and begin strangling you. When you reach the shade of blue that is satisfactory to you, you yell, "Moo," and I'll stop.
Enid: That's it. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
Al: May I suggest Jenny Craig?

I love this show, seriously. And yes, they've released the first few seasons on DVD, though I don't think the entire series yet (the show went on for many years).

I proudly wear my "No Ma'am" shirt in public. I get compliments from people all the time...though mostly just guys. :stongue:

Peggy: Al, let's have sex!
Al: Eh...no Peg.
[audience cheers]
[Al flushes toilet]
[audience cheers again]

Al: [Examining houseplant] Peg, you oughta take better care of the house - these plants are all lifeless and limp.
Peggy: Then maybe they should go in the bedroom then, Al?
[Cue rapturous applause]
Ned Flanders: So the slogans are true. "Watch Fox and be damned for all eternity!"

My fav's oogmg.
Scoops
loved this show

my all time fav episode is the one where Anthrax gets snowed in at the Bundy House
CraveTheRave
My favorite I think has to be the one where:
"NO MA'AM IS GOING TO WASHINGTON!!!"

Or the one where Al finally wins at the end.. there was only like 1 of them... when they lose his car in the car wash hahaha

A fat woman came into the shoe store today, she was so fat she actually had 3 smaller women orbiting around her.

Married With Children is soooo funny. My friend's fiancee learned to speak english from that show lol

AirPole
this programme used to rule, until it stopped airing here in Holland

Then Seinfeld (and with that, Kramer) came along. Now I own almost all seasons on DVD, just like teh A-teamz0rz :eyespop: :eyespop:

EDIT:

After MWC there was this other show, with almost the same studio background. It starred Nicky Cox and that cool bunny, I only liked the bunny though. I thought MWC was way cooler.
