M.I.K.E has got my support in anything he does, as long as he is actually producing..
now give us remakes of Transformation, Urban Shakedown, Silverbath, No Return, or a remake of some other huge hit would be nice :) |

idiots.
ok, the new remake isnt exactly as good as the 2000 remake but come on, its not trying to be.
you cant write off a producer because of one track for sake. |

I've had the same pleasure (since we were in the same club that night :o ) as TOR, and indeed, is actually sounded pretty good live. At least, much much better than that little sample where you all seem to base your harsh critics upon. ;)
But I also agree with the fact that this track shouldn't have been remixed, even if it were by the man himself. No way he could have topped the 2000 remake. But he did, and I still don't see why this all of sudden should make him lose all his credibility he built up in the past 10 years. Cause for this possibly unnecessary remix he's got a few other massive releases under his arm. :) |
This guy always seems to know what he's talking about, hehe :clown: I've heard the remake and I'm quite happy with the result. Leave it up to the capable heads of M.I.K.E. to do a proper remake job! As for the remixes: the Filterheadz remix as well as Mr. Creme's 'Fresh' remix will be wonderful additions to the 'Strange World' discography, as they are both top-notch productions...
Later :toocool:

wtf means up to date??? wtf is wrong with you ppl.. up to date bassline lol... its just a fuccking trend... thats why trance is no better than pop today. every producer tries to make his sound "up to date" synths havent changed that much.. eqs, compressors and almost every tool is nearly the same as it was back in 2000, i mean the path may have changed but it leads to the same place. the "how it should sound" thing is just a trend as is stucture and everything else.. producers that just follow these trends are just pop factories. |
+ ing 1
leedearn: i'm not writing off a producer for one track. i'm writing off an out-of-ideas scene for dozens of tracks. |

Leave Strangeworld alone!
Let it live in its legacy, instead of being known as yet another track that should have tried one last ill-fated comeback attempt just to win another championship. |
