| How long can you stay in your studio and work on a song? Max I've ever done is somewhere around 3 hours. My ears like are ready to explode after that but there's usually where I cut it. How about you guys? |

| 7 hours is my limit. After that I start hearing white noise. |

It depends.
If I get uber-fixated, totally lose track of time and end up spending 3 hours in front of the computer then generally my producing time is just about over for the day.
If I pace myself and take breaks, I've sometimes spent 8-10 hours on it. Doesn't happen very often though, I do have a life, and in fact I generally don't have the time to spend more than an hour or two on tunes. |

Hmm, It's hard to say, sometimes I can "Slow-produce" while I'm watching tv and then I'll probably can sit around 8 hours or so (Fairly inactive)..
Then there are those times when I'm highly active and then I can probably sit around 8 - 10 hours in a row. Alltough many of the trax I work on rarely gets finished, the time aren't a waste of time since I develope by doing those test-tracks as well.. :) But most of the time I work on stuff a few hours at the time, close it and continue a couple of hours later and so on.. |

I spend about 1 hour a day trying stuff. And once every two weeks I feel i'm onto something and lose track of time completely, turn my phone and MSN off and can spend up to 4 hours. I'f I feel the track is realy rocking my socks off I could spend 7 hours. About 4 sessions of 4 hours and i'v finished a track and go back to spending 1 hour a day.
But everybody has their own scedule I suppose. Some guys spend less time and come up with phatter tracks, and some the other way round.
kind regards,

| Well, once I've worked for 8-9 hours, and I fell asleep in front of my computer... ;D that was AWESOME!!!!! Usually I work at lest 3-4 hours then I take a break and again, and again, and again :) |

| I have spent literally spent almost 24 hours in a studio - recording vocals, writing process, overlooking the production, giving my opinion....The other night I spent 4 hours on the beats alone for a track....I could spend my life in there i think...however that would make me incredibly dull and would not allow for inspiration....so sometimes I need to go outdoors...lol |
