Job dilemma conflicting with WMC... (pg. 3)

yeah i gotta agree with the people saying don't skip work. you knew when you took the job that that time of month is the busiest...and you know when WMC is gonna be...i mean i can't go to WMC this year because it doesn't fall on my spring break, but oh well...
and i also agree with the people saying...party hard that weekend and then go to work monday :p |

Very true. The best solution is to go out and just make sure you have the proper substances on hand to make sure you can make it through the next day. I have done this many times. That said, if you cannot do both then work must take priority. |

Well for those saying to go to Ibiza, I LIVE in Miami so all the parties are like 15 min away & it's a lot less $$
Now, I HAVE partied & gone to work before (too many times) & it feels like someone hit me over the head with a sledgehammer plus I feel all paranoid like people are watching me. :nervous:
LMAO @ Crackhead to Junkie (Moral) ---don't worry my priorities are straight cuz I'll still be going to school :disbelief
The only reason I bring up quitting is because I've been wanting to leave for a while BUT haven't done so since I JUST made a year & am already getting my vacation time, if I leave now, NO other job will let me have it off guaranteed.
BUT good news, I talked to my supervisor today & told her, she said HR might make the exception since I've been planning this trip to Cuba with my family for such a long time :disbelief ;)
We'll see what the bitch in HR says tomorrow. |

*edit* either suck it up or dont drink or do drugs... or do the drugs during the day parties... that way by night u are fine an can go to sleep |

I have to be at work @ 8:30 every morning excluding weekends & well I don't leave parties till 9-10 ESP during WMC so that option doesn't apply...plus I hate the feeling of being at work with NO sleep & being all cracktarded. |

I did that last year!
I wanted to DIEEEEEEE! I never even made it to school 1 time that week.
The downside of looking for another job is having to start work after WMC cuz there is no way that new job is gonna give u a week off!
Anyways as soon as the dates were announced I told my job. But it doesn't really matter if I'm not there, I'm just going to be backed up like CRAZY after WMC :nervous: |
