I think hes using digital. this pic right hea
Looks like hes using a night setting and the shutter stays open longer to ubsorb (sp?) more light and with the people moving made em blurry thus he must have been on a tripod^.
Or im completely wrong and im bored... |

I noticed that as well. that's how i get my pictures to look that vivid - is by extending the shutter time, or altering the F-Stop function.
some digital cameras also have a "vivid" or "flourescent" fucntion, which makes colors and light seem a little more bright than usual.

i wish i lived in a cool looking place like that. iowa sucks ass. :( and i want to go back to chicago ! |

I did not use a tripod but kept the camera steady against some objects. That's why some are not completely level. Still, remember that Amsterdam is an old city and some buildings do lean forward (for example in the picture with the white houses)
Using nightmode gives dark and boring pictures. Automatic modes like landscape & portret are all crap. Manual (M) is your friend :)
These pictures were not edited, just cropped in hight for a wider view and slighty sharpened. Knowing the right settings at every individual picture saves time and gives better results than using Photoshop. |
