Considering how ty this line up is. not a single producer other then armin and then a 50/50 club with hip hop. there is no doubt that this guy took the most money for the night instead of choosing a better club or being part of a solid line up. YOU ARMIN VAN BUUREN....

Eh, I actually wonder if something happened. From what I know, he was originally supposed to play in South America for NYE...guess that fell through and not he's up in Canada. Think this was a rather late minute thing.
I don't know for sure, though. Just looking at what I heard a month or two ago and what's going on now....cause seriously, when it comes down to such a huge DJ and his NYE announcement this late in the game, there has to be something going on.

| No, he OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT when he played Pryda - Aftermath 3 tracks into a set recently. |

| PS. When it comes to actual gigs, Armin has always been a lot of about the business and following Dave Lewis' commands. As Armin would reply, "it's a part of the job." ;) |

marco g is an awesome producer FYI...he does tonnes of stuff with preach and is pretty incredible...the main room of that club also holds 2,000 people...hip hop only a few hundred....its a sketchy club in the suburbs, but whatever...
also, the producer of this party (bal en blanc) throws a party every year with 20,000+ people, rivaling that of trance energy in production. last year they had armin, deep dish, danny tenaglia, david morales, and a slew of others.
yes armin took money, but since you have probably never been to Montreal, you don't understand how their party scene kicks ass over any city in north America..every DJ loves playing there!

Rumor ealier was Cattaneo was suppose to play that club on NYE. Something changed there too and he is now in Eastern Europe.
Why is everybody upset? It's always about the money. Armin has a right to make as much of it as anybody.
Armin supports the west coast EDM scene better than almost anybody. |
