| so i feel like i still am a n00borz because i'm still finding out new things. that, and since i didn't really do anything for like the first year [because i honestly felt overwhelmed with the site], it's still taking me time to i guess "find my own niche" here. especially in the Cor. regardless, i haven't tried to be annoying or overly stupid. |

I started posting here after seeing Paul van Dyk in New York at the Old Sound Factory ( Rip ) in march 2002.
PvD had played the track Second Sun - The Spell .... BUT everyone because of Arturo's ( at the time Starfox with the avatar from starfox and all :haha: ) thought at the time that it was Pvd featuring Jan Johnston - I forget the track title.
I remember even PMing Artuto asking him about the track if he had it, releases dates what not. When I found out the real artists yep I knew that Arturo was a tool but that took a lot of people a long time to realize that :stongue:
Speaking of the Second sun track I hounded PvD for almost 2 years at every single show asking him when the track was going to be released. After seeing him back 2 back sometime in 2003 and me pissing him off 2 days in a row he finally played it at some gig at the Roxy and totally broke his set. But so many people sang along ( needless to say they were the TA massive freaks :tongue2 ) and I was going crazy :p
When the track finally came out I hated it to death.
Otherwise I started also hanging out a lot in the #tranceaddict chatroom ( destroyed thanks to Arturo :rolleyes: ) to the extent of becoming part of the furniture. I was one of the first to listen to Tyggerpaw stream :stongue: ! At the time it was me SportTrance, xKaosx who used to listen to it a lot ( it was often live from Space with different djs ( Oscar G, Ralph Falcon, etc )
As a n00b .... I think I was ok. |
