I'm going to say 'SAW' and 'Jacob's Ladder'. Both are more psychological thrillers, but I find those to be more "scary" than your typical horror flick.
'Final Destination 1 & 2' and '28 Days Later' perhaps as well.
Personally I can't wait for 'Silent Hill', which is coming to theaters here in the US in April 2006. I'm a huge fan of the video game series. Keep an eye out for that. |

House on Haunted Hill. Yes, it had me pretty tense at places...
(I think... was that the movie where they were in that house that was an asylum?)
Just stay away from The Ring and Blair Witch if you want scary stuff. |

No, I agree. Mostly because there was nothing scary in it. Just people running around in the woods and some sticks. |
