Pros:
The DJ. Maybe the lights.
Cons:
Everything else. The sound is horrendous. The place, most of the time, is way too dark. I don't really like the crowd too often, since it is 18+.
I just do not like it at all. But... what're ya gonna do? I always make the best out of things. |

Pros- places to sit/ cozy/ i find the sound is the best / lights/ good a/c there
Cons- umm i never had a problem really xcept the bathroom guy is a dick
, but the upstairs music room is disgusting , maybe the crowd summmtimes but i never really get bothered by the crowd enless they are obnoxious |

Um i dont know where you been but the sound at spirit is the best in NY as of the last time i was there. For howells i believe... I also heard the sound was good for digweed....Crobar has the worst ing sound in new york... |

Well I know I don't really know any of you guys but hey I'll be there and maybe I can meet some of ya. Would be cool to have some more people to hang with while I visit. Ill be a tall white guy with long brown hair with a redhead shorter girl hanging with me.
Oh, if anyone wants to meet up send me a pm, I definately wouldn't mind meeting some cool people while im up there. I'm basically visiting NY for 6 days with no plans to do anything other than go to spirit/howells and see conan obrien. lol.

Last time I was there, less than a month ago, I couldn't stand it. The highs were RIDICULOUSLY high. My ears were muffled the entire next day. |

78 is the Turnpike, correct? Anyone want to volunteer phone support in case I screw this up? Though I'm pretty resourceful, and plan on rockin it before dark, so as to maximize my chances. :thepirate
edit: mapquest didn't show the 78; maybe I should try something a little more specific that might get me to the mall? |

I agree. I love not having ringing ears after being there, especially because I'm usually at work the next morning after going there.
And for big clubs, I've heard Pacha's new system outdoes the rest. The Alpha Dynacord system that they have is one of 3 in the country and the same that Space, Miami and Rain, Las Vegas have installed. Definitely looking forward to hearing, especially since it's been one of the few high points of reviews so far. |

Why would everything be called off? My firm's developing their contingency plan in case there's a strike. Apparently, the last time it happened, they sent vans to pick up employees from locations near their homes.
There's no way that they're going to cancel. Spirit stands to lose too much money and would be better off to pick up employees/reimburse for travel than shut down. I mean, Danny's going to get paid either way. |
