Our government tried the higher-than-thou road when Clinton was President. He banned the CIA from using known killers, terrorists and criminals as informants, all on the principal that it cheapens us. Well, by all accounts, that is a BIG part of what lead to us being so blind about 9-11!

Actually, I do seem to spend much of my life on a computer. However, spending time on the web just keeps me from getting bored.

Yes, thank you for gracing us with your well informed opinion. I better stop trying to further educate myself now. I really do strive to be as intellectually devoid as you, but I do have such a hard time not wanting to learn new things. It's such a tragedy, I can't bear it any longer. :rolleyes: :haha:
On a more serious note, though, I don't think that I know many people who DON'T surf the web as a means of escape from work related boredom. Is that really so odd? I don't think so. |
