where are the pics?!?!

and bobby wheres your review :p

OMG you were at Avalon last weekend!!! I totally wanted to go out there last weekend to see PVD, then JZ & Sasha, & Chus/Ceballos on Sun. After last night I don't think I can even comprehend how insane it would've been with JZ & Sasha!!! :)

My friend has a bunch of pictures but she's resting up for tonight - we'll post them by Monday or so.

Yea, has anyone talked to Bobby yet today? I was hoping he would meet us at Narcisse later.....
Ang ' ela_ie
Bobby was staying with Nick, wasnt he? Let me know if you need his number or anything.

As far as pictures go, Ill process mine sometime early this week and then print a few of the good ones. I hope they turned out. I have some pretty good ones of Yuris the Gogo Dancer. And I think that Lara has the most pictures of me, she was being the camera queen all night. Ill be interested to see some of those. :p

It was really great to meet all of you! Myra was telling me a few days ago that she thinks we have the best local TA's, and I definitely agree with her. Sorry I was the noob all night, I was battling between standing in the middle of the dancefloor in complete AWE of James and being social with you all. Also, wow, I did NOT get as drunk last night as I thought I would have. And I think thats a good thing, because if I had, 5 of us wouldnt have wound up at Andy's afterwards. :p

For the show, JAMES, YOU ARE STILL MY #1!!! It was an amazing show - but I didnt expect any less. I maybe recognized about three tracks, and even then I wasnt sure because you are the MASTER of beats and beeps. THANK YOU!!! Have fun in Denver (the COTAs are awesome people). Come back soon!

OMFG it was unbelieveable they were relentless.

sasha came on at 12:30 played for 2 hrs, then JZ played for 2 hrs, then they tagged for 3 hrs. ininsane.

sasha opened w/ the same opener he used on the annie nightingale set also played "im allergic to myself" from the same set

sia - numb (paradise soul remix) <------- killed it, confetti came down from the ceiling when the break hit

feelin electro
junkie xl - today (unkle remix)
a remix of tiefschwarz - warning sirens
Egoexpress - Knartz IV
chab - closer to me
2 phat s - Ride
Chelonis R. Jones - Le Bateau Ivre
Underworld - JAL to Tokyo
the streets - lets push things forward
mad8 vs. andrea doria - work this
The Dysfunktional Psychadelic Waltons - Payback Time
Lostep - Because we can
depeche mode - precious (sasha's gargantuan remix ableton'd up a lot)
zabs closed with mothering Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (R3volves Remix)
sasha closed with orbital - lush 3:1

of course there were tons of samples and accapella's on top of tracks.

most impressive thing tho was jz's ability to alter his style so that it was similar to the way sasha had started off. by that i mean really dark and chugging, a lot more so than what you would normally think of when you think of jz's sets.

it was a night to remember for sure, clovis and i left bobby a voice mail that i believe just went "omfg they are ing killing it!" + lots of yelling. same thing w/ ang. lol

clicky

Damnit Chad when I saw the "clicky" I got excited because I thought it was going to be the effing SET. No more of that, ok??

What an awesome night, I couldnt ask for a better time, JZ was incredible, I hadnt heard anything from him in a long time and man the set was amazing and I loved the Star Wars samples(thats about all I could ID!:p ) He looked to be having a blast and I loved how as he walked in the crowed went nuts. I thought Kyle and Jay did a hell of a job warming up the crowd as well!

As for the TA turnout it was nuts! It seemed like everywhere you turned there was a familer face! Lets see if I can get everyone! Ang,Kristen,Juilet,Tony,Andy,Yuris,Tom,Bobby,Seneca,Garth...great meeting woot, and Chicago29 sorry I cant remember names. Also good meeting Laura. Thanks to Andy and Kristen for everything the afters was probably my favorite part of last night, its pretty hazy but I remember Jimmy spining and of coarse the COAT!:eyespop: :haha:

Special thanks to Ang for driving home and Im sorry my drunk ass fell asleep.Class was a bitch but I snuck out early and slept til 5pm.

Wish I could go to Mil-town but I have a test next week, so I guess see everyone at Ferry!
