Had a great time hanging out with all the TA's the other night! Its been a while since I've been to a show with so many of ya!! James' set was great. I enjoyed his last set at Soundbar more, but I had like 5 or 6 heinekens and a shot of tequila in like 2 hours so I was a bit off for this one. Wasnt really focused on the music so much this time so thats probably why. But dont get me wrong it was a really fun night overall.
Great to see everyone again and meet a couple new faces too.
Cant wait to see some pics |

wow, so that all sounded amazing. i hate being in iowa :(
all i have to say is that i hope something that cool will happen again in may - i found out i have a month off from when i graduate and when i have to report to my first assignment in Louisiana. because with a month off - i would mos def like to party it up w/ you all. sounded like a in' blast. |

Well, here are eight (vintage-esque) prints that I was able to finish today. Out of my 3 color rolls, I maybe had 4 bad photos. Everyone was acting like such a cheese, it made for great pics!
Disclaimer: These are scanned images so they do lose some quality in color. And damn, I should have cleaned the scanner glass. :stongue:
Oh gosh, I have so many grea pictures of him. :p Im so glad those gogo dancers didnt stand on their stoops the whole night.
Anyways, if you guys want more, theres more. :) |

| Okay, two days later I've somewhat recovered enough to comment. I knew it was coming, I tried to prepare, but this show was incredible! I would not be able to tell you what he played, or what he was thinking, but the man (as stated previously in this thread) is a genius and a technical magician. The only other djs I would put on his level are Richie Hawtin and Sasha, but there maybe one or two others I'm not thinking of right now. Anyways, I got lost at some point before four and decided that my friends had all left the party. So, lets just say I went on a super long walk down Ontario and back and then discovered I was obviously still wasted from the bar. :Zabs is the greatest dj, he knows all! Now if I can just pull some strings and convince him to come play somewhere around detroit/windsor again, that would be sweet! Ahh....memories, I also have pictures, but they aren't the best quality, so just let me know if you want to see them. Videos too, but again the quality sucks. Nothing can measure up to the live show!!!!! ZAAAAABBBBBBSSSSS! |

Took some choice pics this night - it was my first time seeing Mr. Zabiela and I danced my ass off. The choons were excellent. :)
I know I ran into a TA there from Chicago - Alana (Euphorica??) and I apologize for my drunken state, lol. They make drinks in Chicago 3x stronger than in the D and I was wasted in action. Hope you had an awesome rest of your night and I will see you down at WMC. :)
That was a fackin' great time - soundbar has great soudn but the layout upstairs was a little annoying (long room, dj in the middle). I'll definitely be checking out JZ down in the Meeami.

Now I have all these pictures in print, Im kind of wondering what to do with them. Its not like I can hand them in for class or anything. I think I might start a "TA Album" or something. Maybe Ill be able to add to it this weekend?
