It's a political debate....all their noses are growing and none of them are answering the questions that are being asked. Giuseppe (spelling????) shouldn't even be there....he is not representing canada.....layton can say what ever he wants because he knows he won't get elected...he is just trying to steal a couple sits and with a minority government this will give him more power......Harper is bashing Martin and the Liberals and Martin is Bashing Harper and the Conservatives.
I still haven't decided on who to vote for and a part of me wants to give harper a chance but he just hasn't convinced me that he would be a good leader and think of what's best for canada and not what's best for him.....he reminds me of GWB and that really scares me. |

i agree with what layton said about immigrants. Harper has pretty much said the same thing.
Its funny and ironic to watch martin stand there and dictate about moral obligation though.
Whether its adscam or the fact that he put his shipping company under a cayman island flag to avoid paying canadian taxes, martin has no moral ground |

Layton going on about "women in parliament". he says the "tone would change with a lot of women in parliament"... quite the sexist statement isnt it? |

GOTCHA!!!
Paul martin just dodged the disabled woman's question. She said she was out of work for 20 years. She asked how a cut in income tax would help her. Martin responded that a cut in income tax would put more money in her pocket?? HUH???? SHE DOESNT HAVE AN ICOME TO PAY TAX ON!!
Then martin said that "canadians should be allowed to use their money for whatever they need" meanwhile he said the exact opposite about the daycare option.
So what is it Martin? |

There should be more women in parliament. There'd be no wars. No woman ever led her country into war. Except for Queen Isabella, Elizabeth I, Margaret Thatcher, Indira Gandhi, Catherine the Great, Cleopatra, Queen Victoria, Mary Queen of Scots, Boudicca, Joan of Arc, Bloody Mary, and pretty much every other woman ever put in power. But other than that, we should definitely have more women in government! |
