well i made it out last night, though very late and not in very good shape... i was bouncing off the walls for that one hour i was there... don't remember a whole lot, but i remember seeing a few people i hadn't seen in a while...

So, Graham and I got there late having come from my company x-mas party. Brought small batches of potato latkes for the door staff, and was totally upset that Orin wasn't there, as I had brought him an x-mas/ thanks for all the good times gift. His latkes were forfeited to another bouncer as a result, and his gift left on his desk. :( :( :(
Sadly, we had missed Kurfew's set. Arrived to catch the tail end of Carlos's set- "LIZARD"!!!!! Then heard a bit of Ortemy. So many familiar faces, but really expected to see that front room rammed- where was everyone? Finally headed into the main room to catch some of Demi. Was really surprised to hear some of the tunes he was dropping- now I'm no Demi expert, but some track styles had a trancey sound to them, so it was a pleasant surprise. Didn't wanna stay too late, but come 4 am, he really started dropping the bomb beats!!! Made leaving even harder.... Hugged & kissed my favorite pillar in the room goodbye a few times, and nearly shed a tear. Left to the tunes of Nu-Era.
Nice to see RyanM out for once. I can't really go into all the shout outs, cuz those 10 rum and cokes I had at the x-mas party are still clouding my head a bit. Special thanks to John Tang, for all you've done for us there. Many years of good memories...
I was hoping last night would be the last time I'm by there, but having missed Orin.... I dunno now. Damnit!!! |

Trying to move in on my BF again I see. ;)
Very fun night even though it was a very early one for me. So great to see so many of the wonderful TA peeps out on the dancefloor and to be able to give everyone a holiday hug. Sorry I had to bail early but it was the smoking in the club that pushed me out...couldn't bare it for more than an hour after the clouds started to form.
Happy bday to Ben and Shawzy. Glad I got to give you the bday hug in person.
Thank you to John Tang and his constant support of the local DJ talent in this city. Best of luck on your last semester of school in Jan and with your new promotional responsibilities...you can always count on me for support.
