Demi's set was wicked. It's been a really long time since I've been so into the music. It was amazing...but some of those buildups were a tad too long. Nevertheless, once the beat kicked in it was buckets. Dekoze was pretty pumpin' too
...and Kurfew layed down some good tunage from the times I was in the Front Room. Starting with breaks? Interesting...I was like "WTF", lol
Oh, and since I see Demi browsing TA...was this set recorded by any chance?? :D |

I expected this party to flop ... but, once again I am WRONG! What I love about these parties (the only reason why I still throw them) it's the ppl, hands down! You can have any amazing headliner + a crazy venue and your party will be if the ppl who are attending it are . Non-stop smiles on everyone faces and the energy that the crowd had last night was just as good as the first TA INVASION 1. So many wonderful ppl that make this board what it is and no other board can top this krew.
Every DJ played soooooo damn good last night! Mike, Aaron, Carlos, Ortemy, Andrew and Chris did such a good job. It makes me wonder what happened to trance ... it use to sound so beautiful and the tracks were so nicely produced back in the days. It sure brings back so many wonderful memories of the early years ...
My favorite part of the night, hearing Carlos's set getting all ed up and the needles skippin' many times. I run to the booth and ask him if he needs the sound guy in, it seems like one of the turntables was giving him a hard time. "No, John ... the records are too dusty and no need for that" That's when you know those tunes were OLD SKOOL :p
I want to thank you everyone who attend last night and those who attended any of my previous parties. With out you, there wouldn't be a vibe, there's wouldn't be a party and Interference wouldn't be around. It was pretty sad for me in some parts of the night ... b/c I gonna miss System a lot. It was the home of 1P for so many years and it's going to be a bit strange when things move on for 1P.
Emery, I wish you the best of luck with your career and thank you so much for helping me out in the past. Such a solid guy to work with and also kept things cool when I was stressin'!
Until the next party ... Interference wishes you a happy and safe holiday! Hope to see you at our next event with our two new venues / clubs residency.

My review will be short as usual:)
Felt really sick, even thought of calling John and asking him to tell other djs to play longer, but then I figured that this is my last chance to play at System Sound Bar. Hence, two tylenols, and there we go:)
Chris, congrats with ur debute, hope to see you play more and more:) Mobius, great set dude. Heard it from the begining to the end - loved it:) Nuera, nice opening track. Had to leave soon after due to my condition:)
Mike and Aaron, sorry for missing your sets guys, but I heard you both rocked;)
John, big thanks to you. W/o you these 3 years at SSB that TA djs had would not have been possible. Long live 1P:) |
