| him not winning MVP at this point would be like Bush not winning the Heisman. What do you guys think? Take him off of the Giants and they would be utter crap, but with him they're doing amazing. |

Even more impressive when you see the 220 he put on the 6th ranked defense against the run today(#27 overall though). However, as strong as barber is, he runs behind the kind of offensive line coaches dream about. He's also got Eli who, while not that great, has everyone worried about the Manning curse (that they'll you up!).
I think Carson Palmer is perhaps more deserving, but Tiki should definitely be a contender. |

but Drew Brees had success in his last year in that offense. I believe if you'd put him in the Bengals wouldn't be nearly as bad as if you swapped Tiki with Ward at the RB spot.
If there was anyone to challenge I'd say it'd be Peyton Manning or Shaun Alexander. |

Yeah, I would agree with you on that, and he still has a chance to break the record for most touchdowns in a season. If it was up to me, I would vote for him. |

are you sure? I was pretty positive the Giants line was very injured and shuffled during that game, and a few others before it. |

change the title of the thread to NFL MVP? for me, cuz I don't want to start another one about this stud.
Tom Brady is MVP in my books, what he's doing this season is redunkulous concidering that Pats survived all the injuries basically by relying on Brady's shoulders and letting him lead them through it all. Now they're actually a substantial playoff team with a date in Indy come 2nd round. |

you're right, Brady has fallen through the cracks, and if it goes to a QB it should go to him. Peyton is out of it now in my book b/c they're not perfect anymore.
and i thought so about the giants line... they've never played together as a unit before this year, and they have been shuffled a few times. I'd also give Tiki the nod over Alexander b/c Tiki catches so many dangerous screen passes while Shaun rarely is involved in the passing game. |

If it goes to a QB, it's CARSON hands down...
Brady is the best ever... HE'S SUPPOSE to do this... this isn't MVP calibur, this is how he plays!!!
Carson totally came out this year and proved his critics wrong...!
plus... Brady doesn't need no stinkin MVP... he's the greatest QB of all time! |
