sorry i was missing in action. sounded like a great night. my brother and his gf spontaneously decides to come down from the bay area so then i had to do my xmas shopping extra early. at least it is over. i prolly have a million blisters on my feet and 4547634235 of extra miles on the car. try doing 3 malls in 3 counties in one day. im not gonna walk in another mall until next xmas. not fun
(also the barfinator (me), had to work my barfin' magic on someone's bday)

OMG!!! Last night was a blast! THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone that was part of this... Off course, big huge Thanks to my sexxxy babe MICHELLE, Mike, Kris, Bob, Gil, Phillipe for making last night happen. Special thanks to Richard for double booking me, Peter, Drew for the great photos, to all the DJs, friends, promoters, fans, the Spundae & Avalon crews, and everyone that made last night possible. Yes, you read right, I said AVALON!!! Lol.. Our beloved friends, DJ's, and promoters from the big A, showed up to support! Heck, they stayed the whole night! That was so en awesome! Hehehe
To be honest, I was kind of afraid that I was going to play to an empty room last night. But, as many of you know, the opposite happened. By 10pm the room already had a crowd, by 10:30, it was already packed. That room was definitely going off and it was noticed! Every DJ kicked ass, each in his or her own way!

Hehehe... I'm so glad I'm getting so MANY positive reviews from all over the place. . I don't think I have heard a single bad thing about my set. All of you got a rare chance to see me do a house set and got a chance to see me use SERATO SCRATCH LIVE for the first time. Heck, I was even showing Robert how to use it! hehehe
I LOVE HOUSE! I always had. When I found out I was opening, I knew this would be my perfect chance to showcase one of my true loves - HOUSE. During my last 30 minutes I transitioned to trance. How did I do it? I have no idea! lol.. But I remember closing with AS THE RUSH COMES!!!! Lol... The room went off when I played it. hehehe It was so unexpected as my set was not planned or rehearsed at all. Sorry Austin for dropping WOW. I didn't know you wanted to play it, or else I would've not played it. :(

OMG!!! I think this was one of my highlights for the night. Going back to back with Tigo was AMAZING! We were definitely vibeing off each other. We didn't have a crowd at first, but slowly we built it up, by the end of the night, that room was packed. I personally didn't care if the room had 200 people of 2 people. I was so into it, it was just one of those sets that I wish I would've! :( It was so much fun and time went by so fast! TIGO... We got to do this again! Next time at Avalon! ;)

same here i forgot to mention michelle(kittycrush), riia and chris(thrax) and i had so much fun with them as well, should just start saying all the TA's, getting harder and harder to mention all b/c there are so many and everyone's so great, oh yeah and chris(ohio) chris reddick, so see i keep forgetting! |

Those pictures look really sweet man, I def enjoyed looking through them. I cna't wait to see the pics Michelle took and I really can't wait to listen to the sets that Mike recorded.
Woody- playing WOW was great, it just means that we both have great taste in music. That is definitely hands down one of my all time favorite tracks. It felt great to hear it over those speakers no matter who played it. Sorry I didn't get the chance to hear you upstairs...mr. Captain morgan had other things to say :(!!
Just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who made this possible and for inviting me to join and party with such a great group of individuals. Everyone is so supportive and friendly, what's not to love about coming up to LA and hanging out and playing music for such a great audience. I just wish I could come up and hang out on a more regular basis!

that was my good friend Arthur....tried to get him and his friends to play but non of his friends showed up so he played for the full 4 hours....ill try and find out the last track he played....if he remembers that is...lol...glad u liked it....he's also on TA ill tell him to come on and respond to this thread! cheers
ohh and Woody....i totaly felt the same way....we both were totally feeding off each other....and it went better then anyone one of us could have planned....cept for those damn in speakers...but everything else was groovy! totally FUN night! wiah we can do it agian soon...actually next time i play...ur more then welcome to come and join me brutha :) |

| thanx noree. ya i was passed out on the couches with my friends at that time and was too lazy to get up and ask what was playin, and i dont know any house trax, but i definitely liked it :) i had fun that night no matter what room i was in, music was great everywhere. i felt like i was gonna lose my hearing in the loft :tongue2 |

I had an awesome time!!! It's always great to hang out with the TA's, especially on the dance floor. Great sets to all the dj's that performed that night, house and trance. It only took me two red bulls to get tranced/housed out.
Big thanx to Michelle for hooking it up, great hanging out with Kris, Julie, Philippe, DJ Lord, Woody, and the rest of the TA's. |
